25.01.2022 Ok here is Monday’s challenge. Can you spot the differences? How many can you spot? Get your friends and family to help you, let’s try and get everyone’s mind off the virus if only for a few minutes.

25.01.2022 Today we started the day with a amazing breakfast/morning tea. Then we had many different activities including building, pool, playing the PlayStation, French cricket, craft, colouring playing on the iPad, playing on the arcade machine, playing tunes on the musical instruments, walking, dancing and playing bard games we also somehow fit in chicken burgers for lunch. We also had a few birthdays this week. Happy birthday to Lochlan, Macca, Marg and Darryl. Thanks again to all that came today

25.01.2022 We would like to thank Luke from the Toowoomba Disc Golf Club and his amazing members who donated a bag full of discs to the group. We look forwards to coming down and trialing the coarse. It’s amazing to have people in the community with such big hearts. Thanks again Help A Friend HQ

24.01.2022 Monday group..... Today we went to do our early voting at the old goods shed. We then went to Clifford gardens to have our breakfast/morning tea. We then headed to sunset Super Bowl to have a couple games with a lot of laughs.

23.01.2022 On Monday we went and visited the lovely staff at CC’s Bakehouse to get our morning tea. We then headed to the park for ball games and a BBQ lunch and a walk through the park to follow. We finished the day with a couple games of pool Back at HQ. Many laughs were had and good times shared. Thank you all it was great to be back...

20.01.2022 To those who attend group, we will be returning Thursday the 11th of June. We will be keeping numbers to 20 only and following all the social distancing regulations as per the Covid 19 restrictions. We will be starting at 8am and going until 2pm. Please contact the office. If you are attending please remember your water bottles, hats and please remember to bring your smiles .

16.01.2022 On Monday we had a quick breakfast before heading to the Cobb and co museum where we learnt a lot and laughed a lot. We then headed to ccs Bakehouse to have lunch they have really fresh salad sandwiches that we love.we finished off the day with tennis pool and board games. A lot of fun was had by all. Thank you again for the day.

15.01.2022 Another great day we had a special someone cook today, we played game had great food and watched a movie amongst our normal activities.

14.01.2022 It was amazing to have the group back, this morning we had Breakfast out at HQ where we all tried making it for our selves. Some had challenges with this and others not so much but... we all had a laugh and really enjoyed making our own breakfast/morning tea. We had a choice of cereals, toast, raisin toast, fruit, muffins and hot drinks. Thank you all for the fun times and good

13.01.2022 The last 2 Monday’s we have been trying to get out and about with all the stage 1 restrictions and social distancing. We went and cashed in our bottles, had a BBQ, played in the sun and even washed the bus. For those who came today got a good laugh when a couple incidents happened to our staff (thanks to Drew and Darryl). Thanks again all.

11.01.2022 Here are some more of the coast trip photos, we had a absolutely amazing day. We walked along the beach for a hour or more just to walk back. We collected so many shells before heading back to the van. We put on our shoes and headed to surfers to have a look around and to get something to eat. On the way a few wanted to look at builder bear and they got themselves a bear with birth certificates and all. We then went souvenir shopping for souvenirs and clothing. We returned to the van around 4 pm but got caught in traffic because of a accident which made it a long trip home but we laughed and joked and reminisced. I hope you all like the photos.

08.01.2022 We are so excited for some of the restrictions to be lifted. Thanks to sunset Super Bowl for having us back. We had our continental breakfast which we are loving. Then we went bowling and we grabbed some takeaway and went back out to HQ to finish the day. We love bowling hopefully we can get to go fortnightly. Thanks again for the smiles we love being back!!!

08.01.2022 This afternoon at group we played cards, pool, shot a few hoops, played the PlayStation and caught up with those we haven’t seen for quite some time. For lunch we had hotdogs which again we served ourselves which some said it was there very first time to make a hotdog. Again this was quite a treat and many laughs were had and no hotdogs were harmed LOL. After lunch we had the lucky door prize and the winner won himself a coloring in book. Thanks again to all the participants another amazing day was had by all.
