24.01.2022 Recently we have finished the big task of clearing out Mum’s fabric and sewing supplies and with the assistance of many we have been able to sell or donate it all, so a big Thank-you to everyone who shared our posts, supported us and came to our open days. A special mention goes to Gill, Iris, Jenni and all the team at BJ Quilters as they have reminded us how there are some truly wonderful people in the world helping others (just like mum did) and we were pleased to be able t...o donate supplies to these ladies to help them raise funds for the Peter Mac Cancer Centre as well as others. These lovely ladies, as individuals and as a group, have out of the kindness of their hearts donated $1000 towards our Children's Cancer Foundation page as they were so touched by Mum’s story and our aim to continue helping others in her memory. So we just wanted to say a big THANK-YOU to you all. We still have many bags that mum made available for sale and with Christmas coming up they make great presents! 22.01.2022 Thank-you to everyone who came out to support our open house sewing sale this morning. I have just been able to transfer another $1200 to support the Children’s Cancer Foundation bringing the total donated in mum’s memory to $7700. We have a few other plans in place so hopefully we will be able to reach the $10,000 mark In the near future, double our original target.

22.01.2022 Today two of our wonderful volunteers Sheryl and Cassie saved over 750 pre cut bags from landfill. Cassie was tipped off that a lovely lady, Robyn had lost her ...battle with cancer last year but had hand cut bags to make and sell for charity. All proceeds from the sales of her bags went to the Children’s Cancer Foundation. Now the family are moving and her husband Gary knew about boomerang bags and hoped we would continue finishing off Robyn’s work. Soo we have taken all her pre cut bags and our volunteers will finish them off and sell them to the community as Robyn had wished. Soo we have committed to the family that every bag sold from Robyn’s stash we will donate $1 with all proceeds going to the Children’s Cancer Foundation. Gary and the family are so appreciative as they didn’t want the pre cut bags to go to landfill. And that’s what we are all about. 17.01.2022 So as many of you now know, Dad is downsizing his Melbourne digs! So Day 1 (today) of Dads HUGE Garage Sale went well, but there is seriously a lot of great furniture & bits & bobs still available & we’d love it if we could help you or someone you know get set up in their house easily! Send everyone you think might need these items our way because at the end of tomorrow it’ll all be going to charity! We still have material pieces and rolls available too!... Happy to take ALL reasonable offers, especially if someone in need so come and see us tomorrow! 830am-130pm 8 Morawa Dve Mulgrave. I know Mum will be smiling down on us all today as we transfer another $1500 to support her chosen charity the Children's Cancer Foundation!! Thank-you to Gardenworld, Knox Vet Clinic and JayDeez Beauty Therapy for allowing us to display and sell Mum’s bags. Your assistance means we can then donate all the profits to charity. We would love to hear from any businesses who would be willing to help us sell the many bags Mum made, so we can continue raising funds to assist Children and their families suffering from Cancer.
