24.01.2022 Our community christmas gathering for 2019

23.01.2022 A friend of mine has done this in Williamstown with amazing success, so I have been inspired to follow her lead. I would like to offer my front porch as a drop-...off point for non-perishable food, which I will then take to FoodBank who will get it to Eastern Victoria to the Bushfire Victims and CFA Firies. I will leave some bags on the porch, but feel free to supply your own (Reusable Plastic or canvas bags preferred). I will then deliver the food on Wednesday or Thursday morning. I only ask for non-perishables, non-refrigerated and within its use-by dates. Inbox me for the address! Feel free to message me here with any questions!

23.01.2022 Calling all our Inner Westie sewers and crafters! Covid-19 restrictions have been a very challenging time for all of us but especially for our Helping H...and Cafe/Hampers community. With face coverings becoming mandatory, masks have quickly become difficult and expensive to source for many people. People already doing it tough are struggling with this extra burden so we are doing a call out to make sure these vulnerable people in our community can go about their daily tasks with the required face coverings. Each package is carefully wrapped with some little extras for all ages, male/female - boys/girls.

05.01.2022 Helping Hand Café In an effort for us to care as best we can for those in need during this health crisis Helping Hand Cafe's lunch service is pausing for the time being. INSTEAD we will be giving out hampers for a donation of $5.00 between 11am and 1pm each Tuesday. Helping Hand Hampers. We will continue to do this until we are forced to change our plan or until we are able to resume our sit down meals.... We are committed to caring for those suffering most in our community.
