I love the fire but unfortunately comes with it lots of fine ash and soot that seems to get over everything, dont you hate that. The clove oil can be bought at the chemist and kills the spores, also put a few drops in a spray bottle in water and spray it over the mould before cleaning it off . 15.01.2022 Cold weather has arrived. Unfortunately our lovely warm fire places have a hidden agenda. They put a fine layer of dust or soot over all our furniture. Never mind Helpinghands Coonabarabran with Melissa and Robyn 0467 225 808 are authorities in cleaning up our homes so it stays warm and cosy and let the love flow without the worries of the mess.

13.01.2022 I was asked could we give the kitchen a bit of a going over? Not a problem, just a warning though, to deep clean a kitchen takes time. Kitchens are notorious for grime that is hard to get off. A stove can take between 2 and 3 hours which includes the oven. kitchen cupboards, if they are empty, cleaning the grease inside and out including the top, which gets worse than inside the cupboard, and the doors and benches can take 3 to 4 hours. Backsplashes are difficult and can... take 1 to 2 hours depends on the size and where it is. Then there are the walls which usually need to be doubly scrubbed because of grease attaches itself to them and smears until you get it all off, between 1 and 2 hours. If there is a refrigerator, 1 to 2 hours. Then we hit the floor, it is amazing how stained tiles or linoleum can get, depending on the area size 1 to 3 hours. Now to top it off the window and the tracks of the windows, which takes longer than the glass to clean. It took over 10 hours to deep clean a small kitchen without cleaning inside the refrigerator or washing the walls but the cupboards were full and EVERYTHING had to be washed, scrubbed, wiped down or dusted. Admittedly your kitchen, laundry and bathroom take the longest to deep clean. To test my times just move house and have to give it an vacant inspection.
