14.01.2022 This year Helping Heroes and our sister company, Community Assist, are taking part in the 2020 RSPCA Cupcake Day, to raise funds for animals in need. Every year, RSPCA receives more than 55,000 cruelty reports and cares for more than 135,000 animals who have suffered from neglect, mistreatment or abuse. We believe that these animals deserve a safe and happy home and that’s why we have chosen to host a Cupcake Day event. Our staff will be getting their bake on to make a diffe...rence on Monday 26th October 2020! Our company goal is $500! 12.01.2022 Under the latest directives issued by the South Australian Department of Health, all health care facilities, including Rehabilitation Providers, require: Any person(s) working or visiting a Helping Heroes office location in South Australia to wear a single use surgical mask for the duration of their visit All Helping Heroes Rehabilitation Consultants and Occupational Therapists to wear a surgical mask when delivering services to our clients beyond our three office loc...ations There are exceptions to mandatory mask wearing in some circumstances including: Children under the age of 12 years Individuals with breathing difficulties Some Mental Health conditions Where communication with deaf community members is impaired by the use of a mask Thank you everyone for playing your part to keep SA safe!
