20.01.2022 A rare moment caught on camera! The elusive helping paws team not in scrubs. A few key members were missing but not forgotten Jacqui, Michelle and Felix.

20.01.2022 Update: I’ve been awake for 48 hours, it’s 11:43pm I missed getting presents for my family but all the cats and kittens are safe in excellent foster homes. My f...amily will survive with cuddles and I’ll try to cook tomorrow I’m absolutely humbled and greatful by the huge amount of help we have received- even from other rescues who I know are so so full - above and beyond. Thankyou so much for every single well wish and offer of help, you’ve all made this terrible situation into something that has shown me there really are so many more of the decent, kind and caring people. Thankyou all so much - I’m sorry I can’t name you all individually but I know who you are and appreciate you so much. Kind regards Dr Belinda on behalf of hpap ******* *********** Scrooge is real in spirit and body this year. In an incredibly uncaring, selfish and unbelievable move the silent partners of Helping Paws Vet Clinic have instructed Dr Belinda yesterday afternoon to remove all the adoption program animals from the vet clinic immediately. At first they gave three days and then changed it to immediately. If we do not or did not comply they were sending the rspca to remove them. At this stage we have moved 3/4 of the cats to foster carers. We are aware this is not legal and ridiculous but no longer feel our cats are safe here. We are hoping that there may be some members of the community that could open their homes to a cat or kitten this Christmas to either adopt or foster. Please show us there are still people who are good, kind and care.

17.01.2022 Thankyou to one of our lovely clients who brought the team this beautiful Christmas gift today. It is always a pleasure to look after all our clients furbabies.

11.01.2022 As a year that we will never forget draws to an end, the Helping Paws Veterinary team will be taking a short break to rest and prepare for 2021. We will be closed from 5pm Thursday the 24th of December and will reopen Monday the 4th of January at 8:30am. We tried to get some replacements but they demanded too many treats for their services (see pictures below). If you have an emergency please call AES Underwood on (07) 3483 0463 or AES Jindalee on (07) 3062 7686 We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our clients for their support, Christmas treats and well wishes. We look forward to seeing everyone in the New Year.
