17.01.2022 Drinks on the Deck was a great evening for HKLN supporters recently. We were up high on the 33rd floor in the city overlooking the Brisbane River to Mt Coot-tha. With good company, food and wine we launched the new website for HKLN. Special thanks to Vincents for the function space, and to Keylee Somerville for photography. Fabulous raffle donors and supporters helped with fundraising of over $3000. More photos to follow :)

16.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who supported team Help Kids Like Nick in the Bridge to Brisbane 2016! It was a great day with lots of support, media attention and good vibes. With only a short time to fundraise we didn't quite hit our target of $5,000 - maybe next year! (the page is still open for any last minute/forgotten donations). Thank you again to everyone who supported us, without you, none of this would be possible!

10.01.2022 Do you know how your money helps? This is Caitlin Campbell - a vibrant 19-year-old with WHS. HKLN supplied Caitlin with funding so she could participate in an... intensive feeding program in Adelaide. This was to wean her from feeding PEG. It has now been 5 months since the program and she is eating small amounts of solids each meal! Her mother Sharon says they couldn’t have done it without HKLN. It’s so hard to describe what it meant to us. It has allowed her to become independent and not rely on people as much, but it has taken the pressure off us as parents and enabled her to move forward. Honestly we just can’t thank Help Kids Like Nick enough. 07.01.2022 Port Macquarie!! - what a gathering of families for the Wolf Hirschhorn Conference! 18 families from Australia received travel and accommodation grants from Help Kids Like Nick totalling over $15 000. These grants can often be the deciding factor in whether a family can afford to attend. It's such an important event because of the sharing and caring which takes place amongst these beautiful families. The conference is held every two years and it's 20 years since the first o...ne in Melbourne! Next one is in Port Lincoln, South Australia in 2021. Fundraising starts now - donations always welcome! 06.01.2022 HKLN would like to say a massive thankyou to Energy Skills Queensland for hosting us for morning tea this morning. Nick was able to attend and accept $172 raised by the team at Toowong as they chose Help Kids Like Nick as their charity of the month! Evie Barnes was also a guest of honour with her dad Justin. Thanks again to the lovely team at Energy Skills Queensland for hosting us and raising money for HKLN! #HKLN
