13.01.2022 FROM THE ARCHIVES. This was one of my first orders 3 yrs ago. Two kids in one family. One wanted Spiderman, the other La la loopsy. So I split the cake and joined it with the web rainbow. It took over 2 weeks to set right. Also those figures are the first figures I ever made. Wow! Blast from the past.

11.01.2022 FROM THE ARCHIVES This was an 80th cake last year. They had played top level tennis, been a socialite, bred cattle, played golf and now was into mahjong. The net was a main stress factor. As was painting the tiles.

09.01.2022 FROM THE ARCHIVES. I did this Thomas set last year. It was my first backboard cake, a technique I had seen done at a few Ag Shows. I liked being able to use the mural to add distance. I thought painting the cake might create a more Thomas like look. Making Thomas was hard as can be seen by how wobbly he is. For those wanting to know the rails are licorice. A challenging cake but I was happy with the result.
