25.01.2022 To try and make the engine and gearbox more manageable, without chipping the chassis paint etc, we installed it without the top end. Fun times late nights. June 2010 COLD.

23.01.2022 Sept 2009, pushed out into daylight for the first time as a vehicle..
22.01.2022 Duvall style windshield was made in Queensland Australia. Had to remove the steel windscreen ridge, to make the cowl top flat for the screen. Beautiful metal work by Tony Carter who supplied the windscreen frame.

21.01.2022 Gave the Desoto the works. Line bored mains, Decked, Bored 30tho over, new Ross pistons, Balanced internals, ground crank, reground cam (Wade Cams Vic.), new push rods, resized con rod journals, reconditioned the heads, new valve seats, valves and springs. Machine work by Donnelly Engineering Gold Coast Queensland Australia. Parts from USA, thanks to Hot Heads and Vintage speed.
18.01.2022 New Wheels and tyres. This is post the SA experience with Fury Romeo. Fury owned the roadster for 2 years.
16.01.2022 July 2009 the beginning. Brookville Roadsters body panels assembled on top of a custom 32 Ford chassis. Chassis supplied and boxed by Toowoomba Rod and Custom Shop. Queensland Australia. Body Channeled over 100mm, custom floor fabricated. Rumble lid took some work to function with the channeled chassis.
12.01.2022 Yamba Rod run 2017. Black, deuce roadsters, black tops, Duval windshields traditional steel wheels parked together. Great to see the difference between a channel roadster and normal Hi Boy style. I like both.

04.01.2022 The Desoto 276. in the roadster engine bay, bolted to a 4 speed Valiant box. the Val box did not work out. It was sold as a red ram? but I worked out it was a Desoto. It ran but was very tired and smokey. Decided to give it a rebuild.

02.01.2022 Had a great day out at the GCRR. Gold Coast Reliability Run 2018. Awesome low key event for owners of traditional styled hot rods to get out on the SEQ roads and cruise.
