23.01.2022 The rising tide: Australia simply can’t afford to prop up this failed prohibition on cannabis, said HEMP Party secretary Andrew Kavasilas. The benefits are immense and now measurable in places like the Netherlands, and some American states. This is especially so, in Canada where they became the first country in the world to openly and willingly defy the UN drug treaties by regulating and taxing adult use of cannabis, he told Sydney Criminal Lawyers. While the Netherland...s has tolerated the adult use of cannabis and permitted its sale in cafes since 1976, it’s really been the last decade that has seen cannabis law reform spread across the globe. South Africa has decriminalised private adult use, Georgia legalised personal use and possession, while Uruguay became the first country to legalise recreational use and sales in 2013. And dozens of nations have also legalised medicinal cannabis use, at least in part. Reaping the benefits: However, it’s the legalised and regulated recreational markets in North America that have really seen the profits roll in. Canada launched its nationwide cannabis market in October 2018, while 11 US states and the capital have legalised its use, with most of those jurisdictions permitting retail trade. There doesn’t seem to be any international consequences for the places mentioned above, just benefits, continued Kavasilas, who’s long been involved in the Australian industrial hemp and hemp seed food industries, as well as with medicinal cannabis as the technical director for Cann Global. And according to him, the benefits include lowering alcohol consumption, a drop in domestic violence, mental health issues decreasing, youth use declines, as does problematic pharmaceutical use, law enforcement is freed up and there’s less corruption and a lowering of organised crime. https://www.sydneycriminallawyers.com.au//legalising-cann/

23.01.2022 The goal is mainly to raise awareness of the issue and use it as a legitimate platform to show just how many people want an end to the drug war and to prohibition in WA. https://www.ponderingpot.com.au//newly-formed-pro-cannabis

20.01.2022 To be eligible to grow medical cannabis, citizens with a prescription will need to register with the government. Friends and family will be able to register on a persons behalf if they cannot grow the drug themselves, with cases assessed on an individual basis. https://www.ponderingpot.com.au//argentina-legalises-home/ #auspol #Cannabis

20.01.2022 France is going to provide cannabis medicines for free on its health service.

19.01.2022 Even with the the NCPIC being accused of publishing fabricated and misleading cannabis information, the centre’s director, Jan Copeland, stood behind the research. Stating the organisation’s research was internationally recognised. So after 10 years of education and spending up to $30 million of taxpayer’s money, how effective was the NCPIC in convincing Australia’s that cannabis is a dangerous drug? It wasn’t. #auspol #Cannabis https://www.ponderingpot.com.au//how-pfizer-influenced-aus

19.01.2022 There is ALREADY a committee and a party is being formed BUT in order to register it as a political party in WA we MUST have 500 members join the party ASAP. The registration process takes a couple of months AND THE ELECTION IS IN MARCH. If we get registered the party name can be on the ballot paper and people can vote for our candidates (even if they never heard of us). IF you want this to happen we need people out on the street talking to people and inviting them to join... the party. They will ONLY be included in the 500 members if they are enrolled to vote and live in Western Australia. Share this link with all your friends and family who want Cannabis legalised. https://lcwaparty.org.au

17.01.2022 Hi <> <> We’re under a bit of pressure to get the party registered in time. If we don’t get 420 more members by the end of this week we wont be on the ballot in March next year. It takes the Electoral Commission 3 months to verify our members and 1 month to publish our intention to register in a newspaper.... So we are going to sign up people in the CBD and Yagan square for members to join the Legalise Cannabis Western Australia Party on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9am - 5pm. If you have cannabis themed clothing, wear it! There’ll be clipboards and bottles of water but we’ll have fun! To be clear, we're taking the Covid 19 situation very seriously and this is not an event or gathering. We wont congregate together or block paths. We will be strolling the streets with our clipboards keeping 2 square metres away from all people and use QR codes to sign people up as the preferred method. Are you able to join us in the city this Friday, Saturday or Sunday even half an hour? YES: https://lcwaparty.org.au/lets-legalise-cannabis/ NO: https://lcwaparty.org.au/help-get-the-word-out/ Regards, Leo Treasure LCWA Party President 26 November 2020 https://www.facebook.com/groups/646286969365377

16.01.2022 Legalise Cannabis WA Party (LCWA) volunteers are, and will be, a very important asset. Please let us know which electoral district you vote in, so we can join you up with people and candidates in your electorate. #auspol #Cannabis https://lcwaparty.org.au

16.01.2022 Covering 56% of the population (13 million residents), the report collected and analysed wastewater from 55 treatment plants around the country. Monitoring 13 s...ubstances including heroin, cocaine, MDMA, and of course, cannabis. The latest report shows us once again, that despite the many efforts of our government to prevent the consumption of these illicit substances, Australian’s pay no attention. Quite the opposite really. https://www.ponderingpot.com.au//australians-consumed-mor/

11.01.2022 It would be nice to give the voters who support Cannabis the opportunity to vote for a Party who reflects their will in the privacy of the ballot box at state level. https://hemp.org.au/legalise-cannabis-wa
