The following topics delivered at the preceding presentations included:... The life cycle of the industrial hemp plant from seed, manufacturing, carbon sequestration, storage, recycling and future environmental impact.A comparative study of railway sleepers including timber, concrete, and steel.Communication (using embedded sensors in the railway sleepers).The use of the latest predictive maintenance analysis applications to attain quantifiable and measurable maintenance reduction costs (cost reduction of up to 90%). Our industry speakers are enthusiastic and engaged to present the latest developments and advances in the sectors of hemp agriculture, railway maintenance and innovation. A miniature (scaled) 3D Model of the IHEM Ballastless Railway Sleeper System will be on display and informs the core discussion of the presentation.
