16.01.2022 Luke our Stihl technician had the luck of working on this super rare Stihl 090G chainsaw. he was required to rebuild the carburettor as the diaphragms had gone hard due to not being used for years! (and yes, the parts were stihl available!) This mint condition Stihl 090 G was first introduced in 1969 and is 107cc and the G stands for "gear driven" and was based off the famous Stihl Contra G. The gear driven set up slows the chain speed of the saw considerably but increases the torque as a result. this made the saw perfect for milling and handling obscenely long bars.
