25.01.2022 The show bag that were are putting together for the kids are just getting fuller and better value all the time. Only $7 each and so far we have a go on the jumping castle, a face painting, a plaster art piece to sit down and paint, an icy pole, pencil, highlighter, glow stick, bookmark, fun bun, magnetic (maybe for your art work on the fridge) and the items aren't all in yet. Will keep you posted as more items are added.

24.01.2022 Have you seen Henderson College? Recently we had a Multipurpose Stadium built on our grounds. Henderson College is on Cowra Avenue, not far from the corner of Fifteenth St. You can see the Multipurpose Stadium as you drive out towards Irymple. Come along to our Sunday Funday Family Fair and have a closer look, 11th of November, 10am till 2pm.

24.01.2022 The Henderson College Home and School Association meet at McDonalds Restaurant on Fifteenth St for our meetings and we would like to thank McDonalds for happily providing vouchers for our show bags. These vouchers are 2 items for the price of 1 and we wold like to thank McDonalds and the Mildura manager Mr J Symes very much for letting us monopolise the party room at Irymple and for their generosity.

23.01.2022 At this school this morning and some of our gorgeous items for our Auction have come in. Wooden Toys have donated a gorgeous wooden walker, the type that a little one could place half their toys in and walk around the house hanging onto the handle, I noticed there are 2 white rubber stoppers at the front so no damage is done to the wall either, brilliant idea. Inside this is a collection of other blocks and toys that just look wonderful. If you are a mum that appreciates the handmade qualities of such toys and the bright colours, the wagon is red, come along and place a bid. Looking forward to seeing what else comes in and keeping every one updated.

21.01.2022 Anyone interested in having a stall for this years Henderson College Sunday Funday Family Fair please contact me. I have sent out emails to the addresses I have and can tell you that this year we are looking at the 9th of November, starting at 11am and finishing at 3pm. For those in our school community we are hoping to find helpers that can assist during the day with parking, kitchen operations, kids games and activities and generally extra hands would be really appreciated. Contact myself or Henderson College if you have some time to offer. Thank you.

18.01.2022 At this very moment I am burning a 3 wick candle from PartyLite Candles, it is Ebony Wood and Patchouli and it smells divine. Helen Wheatland is a local consultant for PartyLite and will be at Henderson College with our other consultants, have a look at their gorgeous scented candles and soy melts, one of my favourites is black raspberry. PartyLite also have gorgeous metal cut and glass candle holders that would make a Christmas table setting something extra special. Go to partylite.com.au and browse a catalogue for yourself, I know that if you book a party with Helen the gifts and rewards are very generous.

18.01.2022 Our gorgeous infant teachers are creating a games and play area on the day. So while the older kids can have a game of laser tag, rock wall climbing, slot car racing or have a look at the Goanna Run Rods and Vintage Motorcycle, the little ones can play some games of their own to keep themselves happy.

18.01.2022 Don't forget our "Silent Auction" this year. You will have the opportunity to obtain a bid number for yourself then place your bids on donated items from our many stall holders. The winner of each item will be informed at the end of the day, who knows, you may bid yourself a bargain and find a real treasure in the process.

14.01.2022 Ok, so today vouchers for half price entry into The Fun Jungle on Lime Avenue, Mildura arrived!!! That is only $3 for entry. The Fun Jungle is under new management and have changed their menu and lay out so if you wish to sit and have lunch out the front without any children their are tables just inside the door. Thank you such much to The Fun Jungle for joining our Sunday Funday, it just keeps getting more fun!!

14.01.2022 We have a great list of stall holders coming on the day, this would be a perfect time to stock up on the presents for family you can not buy from a store, book a party with a party plan representative and you have the added bonus of a hostess gift normally. Come and have a Funday!!

13.01.2022 Fusion Drilldance team is coming to perform on the day. Years ago the "Marching Girls" made their way to the showgrounds and the ovals were filled with girls in knee high boots, short skirts and high hats that were decorated with braiding, some with feathers. It was a spectacular sight to see, the uniforms were all so varied in colour and detailed. It will be wonderful to see what a new generation looks like and how the routines have changed over time.

11.01.2022 GK's Bakery Plus are providing fun buns for each show bag also, perfect for a fun day. Situated on the corner of Lime Ave and Eigth St GK's have a large range of bakery goods to suit everyone. The savouries served on the day are from GK's Bakery plus and includes Mediterranean Pizza, cheese and pineapple pizza rolls, sausage rolls, pasties and cheesymite scrolls, race my 3 girls in before the cheesymite scrolls are all gone I think.

09.01.2022 Thank you so much for a wonderful day. To those that assisted and volunteered our heartfelt gratitude, to the stall holders that came along we hope you had a successful event and a few more people will now associate your name with your business. To the team that kept the smiles on the painted faces of the children that were running around a huge amount of love, this was a day for the whole family and as any parents knows, if the kids aren't happy nobody is happy. The kitchen crew were amazing to work with and seemed to work together like clockwork. Henderson College Home and School Association is blessed to have the support from staff, parents and community members that we do, we can only hope that we continue to grow and look forward to another great Fun filled day next year. 01.01.2022 We are on once again!!! The 10th of November, this time from 1pm till 5pm. The most exciting news is that we have air conditioning, so if you thought last year was a little warm, do not fear. Even though we are a little later in the day we can offer a refreshing burst of cool air to keep your shopping experience one of comfort.
