23.01.2022 The Prep/1 classes have been busy building skeletons of the human body using fruit and vegetables! Students who were learning on-site were even able to harvest produce from our very own school garden to use for their skeletons.

23.01.2022 Check out our Farmbot! This program has our Year 9/10 students developing a program that instructs the Farmbot to pick up a seed, map out the area and plant the seed, water the seed, etc. Once the system is designed, it has each individual seed mapped, so anything else that grows (like weeds) will be identified and eliminated. ... Digital farming at its best, like large scale farmers are using now!

21.01.2022 Are you ready to dress up on Tuesday? It's 'culture' dress up on Tuesday for those who are at home and those who are at school (teachers too)! What does that mean?? Maybe a pair of Irish socks? Maybe a French beret?... Maybe an Aussie cricketer's outfit?! Maybe a shirt with the Sri Lankan flag on it! If you'd like to join in the fun, please wear appropriate culture dress up for your lessons on Tuesday.

19.01.2022 On Tuesdays duringe Remote Learning, there's been a different dress up theme each week, to make our days a little bit brighter for students! Yesterday was 'Character' dress up day, with many book characters, Bible characters and some superheroes joining in for their Zoom lessons across the school.

13.01.2022 We're celebrating Book Week at Henderson College next week! A dress up parade will be held internally (students and teachers only) on Friday, where students may come to school in costume as their favourite book character. We'd love them to bring the book, or a picture of the book they've chosen! There will be prizes for classes for 2 categories - Most Unique and Bible Theme character costumes.... Get your creative hats on - what can you find around the house to help you make a costume?

09.01.2022 Here's an opportunity for all of our Primary and Secondary students - a Virtual Track and Field! As we haven't been able to hold our Athletics Day during Term 3, head to the SSV website (link below), look up the virtual track and field event and give it a go! Open to all ages 5 and up. Lots of activities to choose from, like running, jumping and throwing. Any student who is under 18 years of age must have the consent of a parent/guardian to enter into this Competition. ... You will need to insert an email address (it can be a parent email address if needed) and choose our school (Henderson C) from the drop-down list. If you're a Primary Student, choose Loddon Mallee Primary, and if you're a Secondary Student, choose Loddon Mallee Secondary. During this global pandemic, our use of digital technology has seen a significant increase to complete schooling and professional work, but that still requires users to show respect, integrity, success and compassion while they are online!
