21.01.2022 One project complete and another begins. We really do love breathing new life into these old girls. The mustard yellow 1982 FJ40 LX is our new project and is about to undergo some essential surgery to undo some abominable work by another shop. The rolling chassis is stage one of a ground up restoration for another clients 1976 FJ40. This was dismantled back to bare frame and restored to the point where the body is ready to go on. Weve shipped it off to the owner as hes keen to do his own panel work. Once the body is back together well have it back for stage two to complete the remaining mechanicals and electrical to get it back on the road. #classiclandcruiserrestoration #hendramotors

Its hard to believe that two thirds of Qld is now drought-declared after significant lack of rainfall across central, southern and south east Qld. A convoy of classic Landcruisers driving approx 2,300km and visiting 18 towns over 9 days as t...hey raise funds and awareness for drought impacted communities in rural Qld. 15.01.2022 Cabin filters play a significant role in the quality of air you breathe in your vehicle by trapping allergy causing particles like pollen, fungus spores, dirt, dust and bacteria drawn in from outside the vehicle by your ventilation system. They also protect your fan motor from damaging leaves and debris. A dirty and blocked cabin filter puts excessive pressure on your fan motor, causes reduced air conditioning performance and can grow mould leading to musty odours. Cabin filters should be replaced at least once a year or more often if you suffer from hay fever or regularly drive in dusty conditions.
