All South Australians t...ravelling to Victoria will have to quarantine if they've attended the high risk coronaviurs exposure site at Adelaide's Lyall McEwin Hospital. Arrivals who have been in metropolitan Adelaide will also be required to self isolate until they've tested negative for coronavirus.

22.01.2022 BORDER CLOSURE UPDATE: Temporary hard border between South Australia and Victoria From 11:59pm Thursday 19 November, a ‘hard border’ will be in place for 48 hou...rs before a permit system comes into effect from 11:59pm Saturday 21 November. Under the hard border, only freight drivers and those with medical or emergency reasons, urgent animal welfare, or as authorised by law will be able to pass through the border. The final details of the permit scheme will be provided as soon as possible but the reasons to enter Victoria from South Australia under a permit will include: if you are an emergency services worker or a worker providing essential services for agricultural work to receive medical care (including seeking coronavirus testing), obtain medical supplies or compassionate reasons to shop to obtain essential supplies. 17.01.2022 #BREAKING: Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has announced everyone across Victoria must wear a mask or a face covering when outside their home from 11.59pm Sund...ay night. Mask wearing in public has already been made mandatory in metropolitan Melbourne and the Mitchell Shire, and Mr Andrews said the decision to make it mandatory across the whole state was based on advice from the Chief Health Officer. "It's something we can do in regional Victoria without causing significant economic cost but getting a significant public health benefit," Mr Andrews said. There are 255 new active cases in regional Victoria, 159 of which are in six local government areas -- Colac-Otway, Greater Geelong, Surf Coast, Moorabool, Golden Plains, and the Borough of Queenscliffe. Residents of those council areas will not be allowed visitors to their home from midnight tonight. "It’s vital we stop this virus further seeping into regional Victoria," Mr Andrews said.
