13.01.2022 Introducing Alex Alex is an experienced sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapist with advanced clinical skills developed over years of consulting in both public and private sectors in South Australia and New South Wales. He is an APA Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist. Alex completed his undergraduate degree in 2012, receiving the Elma Casely prize for his graduating year. He returned from a stint in Sydney in 2018 to complete his post-graduate Masters degree in A...dvanced Clinical Physiotherapy (Sports) at the University of South Australia, where he continues to work as a clinical supervisor in the undergraduate physiotherapy program. Alex has a keen interest in spinal pain - particularly in sporting populations - as well as complex shoulder, hip and ankle presentations. When he is not consulting, Alex can be found surfing badly on the mid-coast and spending time out and about with his young family.

12.01.2022 Re-Introducing Harrison We are very happy to have welcomed Harrison back to Henley Beach Physiotherapy! After graduating in 2014 from The University of South ...Australia, Harrison started his career at Henley Beach Physiotherapy. With early interests in sports rehabilitation and injuries, Harrison started off treating all musculoskeletal presentations, while also working alongside elite athletes covering multiple sporting codes. Harrison has recently returned to Adelaide after practising for 2 years within the UK. During this time he was able to expand his knowledge base working primarily with complex chronic pain presentations, along with traumatic and non-traumatic post-operative cases. He has subsequently developed keen clinical interests within chronic pain, pain science and post-operative rehabilitation. Harrison is passionate about community health, and health promotion. He values an individualised, evidence based and holistic approach to his practice, and utilises both active and manual therapy techniques to achieve patient goals. He aims to empower his patients to become best informed about their pain, body and how best to self-manage. Harrison is also trained in dry needling. Away from Physiotherapy you are likely to find Harrison working hard within his vegetable garden or somewhere off in South Australia enjoying the great wine and produce it has to offer! 06.01.2022 Introducing Emma Emma has over 20 years of physiotherapy experience under her belt, graduating with a Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy in 1997. She is committed to continuing education and is a member of the Musculoskeletal and Sports and Exercise groups of the APA. Emma has a focus on hands-on therapy and targeted exercise, and she loves attending courses to expand her knowledge and skill base. Married to a RAAF pilot, Emma has had the opportunity to work in a variety of ...public and private settings all over the country, including Newcastle, the Blue Mountains, Katherine and Canberra. Emma also lived in South Carolina, USA for 3 years, working in a busy orthopaedic clinic there. Having grown up in the Western suburbs, Emma is excited to finally make Henley South her permanent home. She has always maintained an active lifestyle, and as a busy mum of 2 young boys, Emma understands the pressures of juggling work and family life. When shes not in the clinic or at Western Hospital, youre likely to see her on the beach with her dog, Willow. Emma has a particular interest in necks, backs and shoulders, and would love to nut out your musculoskeletal problems to help you live your best life. 06.01.2022 Introducing Bradley Brad graduated from a Master of Physiotherapy (Graduate Entry) after completing his Bachelor of Human Movement specialising in exercise and sports science. Brad has an interest in Musculoskeletal and Sports Injuries. His emphasis on active management, used in conjunction with hands on techniques, was developed during his tenure as Assistant Strength and Rehabilitation Coach at Woodville West-Torrens Football Club (SANFL) throughout the 2017 season.... Brads passion for Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy stems from his involvement in sport and an active lifestyle. Brads combined knowledge and genuine care in his patients well-being is paramount. Brad is local to the Western Suburbs, having attending Star of the Sea Primary School and St Michaels College, as well as being involved in local sporting clubs. As an avid golfer and runner, you will find Brad on the fairways at the Grange Golf Club or running along the esplanade.
