A different final series also with only the top 2 teams playing off in the Grand Final as opposed to the top 4 heading to the finals. 23.01.2022 What a great Family Fun Day! Thank you so much to our wonderful volunteers who gave their time to umpire, cook the BBQ and help distribute the uniforms. Baa Moo Oink provided a great price for the sausages, Jump Easy threw in the very popular slushy machine, Henley Square Foodland donated the bread and Keryn Harris did a fantastic job with the face painting! And to our wonderful start up committee, thank you!

21.01.2022 GRAND FINAL RESULTS A successful and historic day for our Netball Club with 4 teams playing in the Grand Final. We had some very close games with 3 victories and 1 narrow loss. Our B1s went down fighting 39-36. ... Our Under 13s E9 won 38-14. Our Under 9s G2 drew 17-17 after double overtime! Our Under 9s G5 won 10-9. What an awesome result in our inaugural Season! 21.01.2022 As Round 1 is just around the corner we hope you are all excited and raring to go! So much work has gone on behind the scenes by SA United Church Netball Association and all Clubs in the Association to get our players back on court. Thank you! Our coaches and team managers have been inundated with updates and information over the last week so thank you for your efforts in looking after our teams.... As a Club we would like to reiterate the following: All spectators are required to watch from behind our fences. All Clubs will have similar protocols in place so please respect and abide by their rules. There are no half time oranges or post game lollies until further notice. There will be a court supervisor at all games to ensure protocols are met. We are running the BBQ and Jason from The Spare Room Cafe will be in attendance again this Season. Please social distance. Quarters are now 12 minutes for all games with breaks at 3,5 and 3 minutes. Only the coach and 1 other person allowed in the courts (the scorer must time). 16.01.2022 We would like give a massive thanks to Adam and Zoe Roe from Gas Works at Findon. They have so generously donated a Weber BBQ and accessories totalling $550. We will be using these goods to run a BBQ and stall at our home courts from tomorrow. This was the initiative of Zoe and Trintan Delmenico who have offered to assist in the running of the stall which will provided crucial fundraising money for our Club. 14.01.2022 This weekend Sporting clubs across South Australia will be tackling mental health head on as part of the Breakthrough Community Round raising funds for Breakthrough Mental Health Research Foundation Sport SA are supporting Breakthrough Mental Health Research Foundation and the Henley Sharks Netball Club will be participating in the Breakthrough Community Round for 2020. The official ‘winter’ round will take place during Round 5 (August 15). We will have a donation tin at our... homes courts and you may see them at other Clubs. City courts are also taking part. With one in five Australians diagnosed with a mental health issue and more people aged between 15 - 44 years dying from suicide than any other cause it is imperative we support ground-breaking research to better understand what causes mental illness, how to treat it, and how to prevent it from happening. The $500 award has gone towards hand sanitiser and increased court hire costs due to Government restrictions on numbers. Community support and Grants like this are greatly appreciated by everyone within our Club and bring some relief at this time. ... 04.01.2022 PRESENTATION DAY 2019 That's a wrap on Winter Season 2019! What a great presentation day we had celebrating our inaugural season. Thank you to everyone who came out and made the day a great success. We were very lucky to have Matt Cowdrey - Member for Colton in attendance along with the City Of Charles Sturt Mayor Angela Evans. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedules to present some awards. ... We also thank our generous members who donated $100 to the Aldinga Netball Club who had their Clubrooms burnt down last Friday in a deliberate attack. This combined with the committees decision to donate $250 will hopefully go a little way to rebuilding. Finally Kate Williams who was our emcee and nailed the job! When you have this role you are busy thanking so many people but no one has the chance to say thank you in return. Kate was an integral part in the formation of our Club and continues to work tirelessly and passionately to see us strive. Thank you Kate!
