14.01.2022 Another fitness influencer is gifted prepackaged meals... GROUNDBREAKING... Read UP what I have to say - I like to keep it real with you guys... Recenly the @macros.com.au team reached out about gifting me a week of meals... TBH it kind of was groundbreaking to have macro friendly, delish (and different to my norm) meals delivered for the week. - I cook ALL my meals, Im still yet to order any meal delivery service to my apartment. I know, Im a weirdo (I just really l...ove to cook). - Most of the time I walk to get my groceries and I prepare all my meals, butttt the clean up and process of gathering the ingredients not so fun. - All the meals on the SCULPT plan are: 270 - 350 cals High protein moderate fat low carb Super fresh, whole foods with no processed ingredients. - Anywayyyy, if you are sick of meal prepping, having to walk to the shops, the offensive task of constant clean up, are a snacking while you cook culprit and want to add time back to your day. Want to know my secret to smashing this challenge? - I love the feeling of having a really solid GOAL in mind. In my training years it has been clear with the many hundreds of clients I have worked with that the most successful clients are the ones that always have a crystal clear idea of WHERE they want to be and WHAT they want to achieve within the time period. - I like to c...all it the BRIDE MANTRA. You see, when I was training one on one female clients. Whenever the client had the specific goal of being in a wedding (as a guest or as the bride) that they would literally become the miracle client. All their BS excuses of why they couldnt be compliant to nutrition or consistent with training would miraculously disappear. - All these excuses were no longer relevant, because the client knew that in a few weeks time that they would want to look and FEEL the BEST that they have ever been. It shows the power of having a CLEAR goal in mind and working towards a date. The best thing about a LSF challenge, is that you have additional support from the ULTIMATE hype girls! - SO - What I would recommend if you are joining me on this 8 week challenge? TBH, when I entered into the fitness industry one of the biggest global fitness stars was projecting that this is the way that all girls should look. - How many of you have ever felt personally victimised by Regina George?... - Let me tell you straight up, my body isn’t naturally skinny, I don’t have a crazy fast metabolism, and I don’t build muscle quick. I like to call myself the average Joe. If I want results I have to work HARD to achieve them. - For all my new followers - my story is a little different... If youve dealt with any variation of mental health then you would understand that sporadic check-ins with people isnt what helps you feel better Its knowing that you have support around you when you dont feel like you. - For a lot of my new followers you see the positive, happy Henny who is so full of life and... joy to celebrate everyday. Which I am now. But I can tell you right now - a few years ago I wasnt this girl. - When I was running my gym in ADL, I completely ran myself to the ground. I had only a few hours of sleep each night, I was stressed the whole time, I didnt socialise because I was physically exhausted, and worst of it all I had crippling anxiety. Some days I would lie in bed all day - other days I would be physically ill when I walked into the gym - my mind would ran at a million miles per second, and I could never be truly present in moments. - The best way I can describe it is what I can imagine drowning feels like. You are desperately trying to pull to the surface but you just get keep pushed down. Its exhausting, its scary and you get frustrated as hell that you cant just be the person you know you are meant to be. - I can tell you right now, it wasnt during this time the sporadic messages that would help me. It was my pillars of support that I knew where always there for me without even having to ask. - On the day that we are meant to be reminded to ask a question YOU KNOW YOU SHOULD ALREADY BE ASKING. I want to instead put light on the unsung heroes of society. The ones that are constantly there fore others, that truly listen to people when they talk, who are kind to strangers, who do random acts of kindness, and are there for people when they need it the most. - I dont think I will ever be able to thank my pillars of support enough (they know who they are).
