23.01.2022 One of the topics In Henri's 14 week program is grief and loss which we all experience in our lives for different reasons at different times. There are lots of reasons that we all understand such as the loss of a loved one or the loss of a pet, relationship breakdowns or sudden financial insecurity. There are also less obvious reasons we might struggle with grief such as moving house, changes in our health status, losing things that we were attached to, and past traumas being triggered. We are all going through a collective loss and grief as we experience Covid19 and the changes that are happening around us locally and as we witness the pain of people who are suffering around the world. All the feelings that come with this are normal and Henri Nouwen House is here to help if you feel overwhelmed. <3

08.01.2022 Henri Nouwen House re-opened today with our support program S.T.E.P.S. Today's topic was empowerment. We run our program on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 10am. If you are interested in finding out more please ring us and talk to our wonderful coordinator Sue on 9761 2027. We are always looking to grow our family of volunteers too :)
