25.01.2022 $60 Million will be spent over the next 16 months to upgrade the Norwood Morialta High School Senior Campus. An additional 1000 students will bring significant challenges which were discussed tonight betwee Principal Jacqui van Ruiten, local residents and the Ward Councillors tonight. The school, the department, the builder and the council will need to work together to manage these issues. But congratulations to the school and to Jacqui, the changes look awesome and I think will greatly benefit the students.

18.01.2022 Weeds are taking over Ferguson Conservation Park and the creek suffering from erosion, I caught up with the Friends of Ferguson Park to lend a hand with the weeding. I am hoping council will do more to protect this important Conservation Park. https://www.henryldavis.com//working-with-the-friends-of-f
18.01.2022 I caught up with Richelle Martin from #SkateTheEast and even clocked up a few laps myself. The pump track has moved to Newland Reserve (behind the baseball pitch) and this spot seems to be an absolute hit with the kids.

14.01.2022 What do Akubras, RM Williams and Ugg Boots all have in common? A Burnside Councillor wants to ban them from being sold, worn or displayed in Burnside Needless to say traditional aboriginal garments would also be banned. Do you think ratepayer money should be spent on this proposal?

09.01.2022 Of the 15 Recommendations outlined in the Keelty Report, 6 of those relate to council. The Local Government Sector has a lot of work to do in reducing an preventing the impacts of bushfires. I have started to work with the CEO regarding our obligations and how we can better collaborate with other agencies. https://www.henryldavis.com//keelty-report-means-action-fo
08.01.2022 Tuesday was a short meeting with only a 180 page agenda, but that's no reason to have a short pod cast! Cr Hueble and I discussed the passing of Cr Bills. Kensington Gardens Reserve and after 43k laps the pump track's move to a new location.
08.01.2022 The pump track is up and running in Newland Reserve, make sure you get down there and clock up a few laps! #rideburnside https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pUrysRkre8c
08.01.2022 Kensington Gardens Reserve was already set for huge improvements this year and an additional $850,000 will be spent as part of the State Government's Covid stimulus package. This will deliver new bridges, paths, fitness stations and more! I like to thank Vickie Chapman and James Stevens for their continued support of this awesome initiative. read more about whats going on below https://www.henryldavis.com//building-a-better-burnside-ke

04.01.2022 I had a ball presenting to Master Builders SA via zoom and in person on taxation issues last night. Land Tax is obviously still a hot topic but we also covered GST, Stamp Duty, Capital/Income, PPR Exemptions, Structuring and more.
