04.01.2022 The next 5 days will be tough for everyone but we are all in this together and unfortunately there is no escaping it as much as we want too. Yes, HTG is classified as "essential" service being a logistics company. But unfortunately this round of lockdown 70% of our clients will be forced to stay home. The earthmoving/civil industry is about to explode. It's only a matter of time.... You need to tough this out no matter how much it hurts now. Yes, we have pissed off some people within the industry when we purchased some machinery and started our sister company HTG Earthworks. A little naive of us?... Possibly. But do we regret it? Not at all. That honestly wasn't our intention. People/opposition will always talk no matter what you do. Let them. We don't care. We aren't out there to make enemies. We just want to go to work, do what's needed and go home safe to our families just like everyone else. Our plan was and still is to help throw work to the people we have grown relationships with over the years to keep them busy. That being other warehousing and container cartage companies, other haulage companies and other earthmoving companies. If our clients are busy, then so are we. And we love that. There is plenty of work out there for everyone, and as much as you want to do everything yourself... You can't. And we understand that. Once this next "lockdown" stage is complete, and if you are struggling to find work... Please, don't hesitate to ask if we know or have heard of any leads or of anything going. We have some good contacts in a big network of different industries, and we are happy to help if we can. Even if you aren't a client of ours and another transport company floats your equipment. That's fine by us and we respect that. We are just happy to help find you work so you can get a pay check at the end of the week. With all that being said, we hope you all stay safe throughout this lockdown. Hope you enjoyed the novel. Be good
