25.01.2022 Thanks to Sarah and Mike for sharing this gorgeous photo of their little girl and her rocking horse. We love it!

24.01.2022 Here it is... Arvin and Tuba's finished piece. Fabulous job in the construction and the finishing. Great work guys, looks awesome in your entrance. ... Thanks again to Dennis (aka dad) for some advice along the way. See more

23.01.2022 The beginning of the Hens Shed... It was actually just a lovely friend's request to learn a few wood work skills. Which grew into what it is today. xx

10.01.2022 Meet our rooster Ehsan! Congratulations, Ehsan on taking-on, and completing this very difficult task. A backgammon set. Very cleverly, Ehsan made a few scaled-down models, before completing his final prototype. Even though this is a highly-precise project he managed to create the sample, mostly from reclaimed wood. The pieces were even made from old curtain rods. ... This final prototype has taken him approximately 4-5 sessions. Can't wait for next weeks session for Ehsan to start on the real deal, and to watch those little round pieces fly again.

09.01.2022 Just having a play today making a bed into a chair . Coming along nicely

08.01.2022 Loving the rustic vibe of this wall decor Three vases - two round, one vertical tube. Can be used for flowers, propagation, or as planter. Made by Rachael Critchell

06.01.2022 Ready to sand and paint I loved making this with my rooster

06.01.2022 It's always nice to show one of the girls finished items, but for me, this photo shows much more. A behind-the-scenes shot of how much work goes into the finished product. This is Wendy's first attempt at creating mortise and tenon joints. We spent a considerable amount of time setting up the drill-press to create accurate, uniform mortise-holes so that very little chiseling was required. Great job Wendy! We look forward to seeing the finished job in the weeks to come.

06.01.2022 Finally, this little rocking horse is in her forever home. It was ordered as a gift for a beautiful, little girl's 1st birthday. Made from reclaimed Baltic pine which was gifted to us, it is probably (no definitely) the most challenging project I have undertaken so far. I had to redesign and remake the base, then reposition the horse as the balance was offset, and the rocking motion wasn't smooth. ... Jay and I both had a turn on it and she rocks well. Rock away!

05.01.2022 Happy Christmas Love this home decor piece

04.01.2022 This is my Jarrah-Burl, low-table with fabricated steel-legs. Thanks again Rachael for gifting us with this gorgeous burl. Firstly I wire brushed any loose particles from the burl and blew the dust off with compressed air. I then taped the underside of the burl and poured resin into the empty voids. After 3 days I sanded off the resin excess and applied a topcoat. Meanwhile, I made a wooden pattern for the legs, refined them a bit, and then the fun started. ... After blowing the dust off the welder, we starting cutting the steel, and then welded the sections together. Yes, mum we were playing the Flashdance soundtrack in the background . Finally, I used a flap disc on the angle grinder to remove the excess weld material, gave it a coat of etch primer in matt black and fastened the legs to the underside of the table.

04.01.2022 Our completed resin/wood boards and soft cheese spreaders.

03.01.2022 Yesterday we sweated it out in the shed, but nothing could stop this girl from pumping out another project. This is Wendy's beautiful 3-legged, hallway table, made from an interesting and very unique slab of Tasmanian Blackwood. We felt the slab didn't have ample meat to fasten the hairpin legs to, so we cut 2 pieces of pine at 30-degree angles to fasten to the underside. She finished it off by rubbing in some buffing oil.... Great job Wendy!
