It was a great way to celebrate 40 years of Carols by Candlelight enjoying the choir lead us in Carols and performing some a Cappella songs throughout the night. 19.01.2022 There are so many people and businesses behind-the-scenes that help make the Henty Christmas Fair & Community Carols an event to remember. Firstly, a big Thank-you to our Volunteers on the day who work endlessly in the heat to set-up, pack-up and all the bits in between. These guys work hard behind-the-scenes without the need for any credit and do it with a heart to bless the community. Thank-you to Riverlife Church who organise and sponsor the Fair for the community along ...with some items in the 'bush-fires' gift hamper. Thank-you Fisher & Farmer Homewares for the beautiful donations from your lovely store in Ganmain for the gift hamper. Thank-you to the Churches in Henty who combine to help organise and sponsor the Carols for the community. Thank-you to Amazing Christmas for helping make the carols stage look amazing. Thank-you to the Greater Hume Council for allowing us to use the Park for our Events and lending us council bins for free. We are sure there are so many more who work tirelessly behind-the-scenes that aren't mentioned so we Thank-you for all you do. From the stallholders to those who performed live music... from the vendors to the event sponsors... from the event planners to those volunteers who slaved for hours. We say THANKYOU. So much time, money and effort goes into making this day special and we are so grateful. ... We would like to say a big THANKYOU to everyone who came down (even in the hot sun) and supported this community event. The day isn’t complete without you there. So many talented makers, artists & business owners with such a great variety of products. We loved seeing everyone come down in support of all the small businesses and our local schools. It was so special having St Paul's Lutheran Primary School - Henty and Henty Public School as part of the Fair for the first time this year... They play such an active role in our community. I...t's amazing! 06.01.2022 You are amazing! We raised a total of $1,598.40 last Sunday for the Salvation Army Disaster Appeal that is going towards the bushfires. A total of $74.60 was donated in the box at the Fair, the gift hamper tickets raised another $238 and the Offering during Carols totalled $1,285.80.
