25.01.2022 Our 3YO group 2019..has moved to Wednesdays at Hepburn Kindergarten! Lots of play opportunities, wonderful experiences and social times. Children can start at any time during the year once they have had their 3rd birthday. 21.01.2022 Our 4YO''s ended the term on a high with a Dress up day.. Lots of fun, laughs, a parade and shared Lunch with our families.However, we have had a report of hand, foot and mouth and gastro is also about, so letting our families know to look out for potential symptoms. 20.01.2022 A HUGE and EXCITING day for Hepburn Kindergarten with our local member Mary- Anne Thomas MP, Mayor Don Henderson, CEO Evan King, Cr. Fiona Robson, & Joanne Geurts from ECKA attending our kinder. Today they announced that Hepburn Kindergarten will be receiving a 240,000 GRANT to upgrade the facilities to facilitate the move of funded 15 hours of 3yo kindergarten in 2021. This is a major announcement that is well deserved of this beautiful kinder and play space we already have on offer. What a wonderful way to celebrate CHILDREN'S WEEK ..with a dress up day also ..and to finish our day a walk to the Reserve ..with a special surprise..celebrating our teacher Wendy Hawker.. .Happy 60th BIRTHDAY WENDY!!!

19.01.2022 Good afternoon all, we hope you all had a lovely Easter (considering the circumstances). Before we all went on our Easter break Catherine, Kara and myself (Karley) decided to plant a few seeds and hope for the best. We were very excited to see shoots springing up everywhere. We even have a couple of different mushrooms popping up.Hopefully our little veggie garden will be in full swing once everything returns to normal again. 18.01.2022 'Happy Easter' to our Kinder and Playgroup community. We hope your weekend is full of fun, family time and plenty of chocolate! Kinder will resume Tuesday 23rd April, (Just one day this week!) as Thursday 25th April will be a public holiday for Anzac Day. Playgroup will also resume Friday 26th April.

17.01.2022 Our wonderful kindergarten children (some from their homes and some at the kinder) made poppies for our ANZAC day wreath, which is now at the cenopath in Daylesford. We may not be able to attend any services tomorrow, but we still remember and we still pay our respects. Lest we forget

16.01.2022 Really sorry to announce that Hepburn Kindergarten Playgroup will not in fact be starting tomorrow as planned. It is Kinder/Playgroup policy that for safety reasons, no-one is on the premises on a TOTAL FIRE BAN day. I hope the late notice doesn't inconvenience anyone, particularly those that were coming along to try it for the first time. Keep cool tomorrow and hopefully we see you all next Friday the 7th from 10-12 :)

15.01.2022 Our Annual sausage sizzle/wood raffle is on this weekend from 10am-3pm, Main street, Daylesford! Parents/ families of Hepburn Kinder we still need volunteers for the afternoon shifts. 1 hour time slots to serve our main street customers. This is one of our major fundraisers for the year. 14.01.2022 This afternoon as part of our 4 year old program we had a camp fire. It went really well and the children loved it, so that bodes well for future occasions. Hopefully next time, we can invite our families in to join us.

12.01.2022 Today another magical occasion for the Kinder. The 4yo's Concert and how special it was being Wendy's last hoorah. Santa visited and it was such a lovely day with our 3yo's also in attendance..some fantastic singing! Today Wendy was presented a special plaque for her years at Hepburn Kinder.. "The Wendy Hawker stage"! To also complement this amazing stage..we now have 2 urns with plants to remember Wendys contribution to those special concerts she is well known for. Thanks Wendy for an amazing 21 years!

11.01.2022 Hepburn Kinder annual Mother's Day stall this Saturday 11th May.. 10am onwards in the main street of Daylesford. Parents/families we need your help to make this fundraiser a success! We need lots of slices, cakes, sweets and savoury, or anything that will be a seller on the day! If baking isn't your thing, we need volunteers over the day at the stall. (Roster is at the kinder) A mothers day raffle with some amazing prizes will also be held on the day..$2 a ticket or 3 for $5.

Thank-you to all those who baked, created, organised and volunteered at the annual Mother's Day stall yesterday. Big hooray to the local community for helping us raise $900 for our wonderful Kinder! 09.01.2022 Funded Three-Year-Old Kindergarten will become available in kindergartens in Hepburn Shire in 2021. Clunes & District Preschool, Creswick & District Preschool, Daylesford Preschool, Hepburn Kindergarten & Trentham Kindergarten will be offering 15 hours of funded kindergarten each week for children who turn 3 before April 30, 2021. 08.01.2022 Really sorry to say that Playgroup will not be recommencing for Term 4 as hoped. We have just received the latest Department of Education information and even in Step 3, we are to limit visitors onsite. Next year we are running 4 full kinder days and are almost at capacity, but at this stage will still be able to run our playgroup at its regular time on a Friday. I will let you all know when I know more.

08.01.2022 Hello Hepburn families; PICTURE PLATES/CLOCKS artwork are being completed this week. For those who are wishing for their children to create an art masterpiece - they will be sent off Friday- this will then be turned into a plate or clock of your choice. $28 a plate or $35 a clock. 4YO families - cultural day is on Thursday- dress your child in a culture of your choosing and bring along a plate for a shared LUNCH to celebrate the diversity of our World.

02.01.2022 We are back! Hepburn Playgroup would like to welcome you back from this Friday 31st January. All families welcome. Playgroup is managed by parent volunteers but we also love the help of all our families to clean up and reset at the end of each session. Playgroup is only $4 a family and a piece of fruit to share for morning tea. We hope to see you there.

01.01.2022 For those who may not have got our Story Park announcement. Due to the weather and our concern it might be a total fire ban day on Thursday, together with ECKA we have decided to move our Christmas celebrations to Tuesday as follows: Santa will be there at 11. Concert will be approx. 11.45am. Party food will be served up about 12.15... If Thursday is fine we will do a second Christmas performance and party. We look forward to seeing you all for our final week of kinder Karley and Wendy x

Your donations of items for the day made sure we made a fantastic profit. 01.01.2022 Christmas has hit Hepburn Kinder today. We had a wonderful day decorating the tree, making cards and decorations and we even had a special delivery from the North Pole with the arrival of Elfie the Kinder Elf.
