24.01.2022 We had a fab seed meet on Sunday, ate cake, drank tea, and packed a diverse bunch of seed varieties. We have decided to stay home, but I am going to take these ...hopeful nourishing seeds to the library tomorrow, because I can think of no better thing to do than plant seeds of hope, listen to the garden, and get the winter veg in. As always - thanks Scott! And the lovely Ruth, and to all the seed keepers. Now is the prime seed saving time, so if you are home too it is a brilliant opportunity to slow down, listen to the seeds and nurture our diversity. If you need seed saving tips or help don’t hesitate to email me [email protected] I seriously love talking seeds. See more

22.01.2022 An open letter to Hepburn Shire Council from concerned community members:

21.01.2022 This Sunday Wild Fennel is happening online. "Not only are plants our healing allies in this world, like all good healers, they also help us to recenter, to come back into connection with the earth and remind us (even if it's on a subliminal level) that we belong here and are a part of something brilliant and mysterious, something much larger than the confines of our "isolation"." - Rosie Cooper

13.01.2022 Covid-19 is showing us that when humanity is united in common cause, phenomenally rapid change is possible. None of the world’s problems are technically difficult to solve; they originate in human disagreement. In coherency, humanity’s creative powers are boundless. A few months ago, a proposal to halt commercial air travel would have seemed preposterous. Likewise for the radical changes we are making in our social behavior, economy, and the role of government in our lives. Covid demonstrates the power of our collective will when we agree on what is important. What else might we achieve, in coherency? What do we want to achieve, and what world shall we create? That is always the next question when anyone awakens to their power. Charles Eisenstein- from ‘The Coronation’

12.01.2022 Some excellent virtual events and resources. Congrats to Hepburn Shire Council and Donna Brasher Spiller for putting this together.

06.01.2022 Want to help grow our community seed bank?

02.01.2022 Hello all, The book library is closed - but I busted in (actually they opened the door for me) and got the seeds We have some fantastic varieties for sowing n...ow and April. The perfect opportunity to restore our relationship to seeds and all of their life giving beauty, hope, generosity and nourishment. If you would like me to drop seeds to your post box over the next few days please message me with varieities you would like. Any folks who have seeds they are now saving and want to return to the library, please store in a cool, dry, dark place until we the book library reopens. Also, we are looking for community seed keepers - to dedicate a small (or enormous!) part of their garden to a variety for the purpose of saving the seeds. If you think this might be something you would like to do, we will mentor and support you as much as you would like or need. It can be as simple or as complicated as you choose
