25.01.2022 a couple of roasts for dinner for our weekend guests..with a Xmas in July theme.. a cracking pork with plenty of crackle & slow cooked lamb falling off the bone...

24.01.2022 A big shout out and congratulations to David and Andrew Baker of Bakery Hill Distillery for the fantastic recognition they have received. We have always received great enjoyment and feedback from our guests who have indulged in their whiskeys at The Grande. David did share (quite) a few nips of a special reserve cask with me during his son, Andrew's wedding at The Grande earlier in the year; getting up for breakfast service the morning after was a little bit of a challenge.... it was a wonderful event to share with them both. Do yourself a favour, and find a bottle and some special whisky loving friends..
