23.01.2022 To all my valued clients at Herbal Hair. I want to thank you all for your support. I know there has been a lot of information on social media about the covid-19 virus. I wanted to touch base with everyone and let you all know what things I’ve put in place. I want to do everything I can to minimize the spread of the virus and keep everyone safe. While I offer services to my clients as long as I possibly can. Practices I’ve implemented:... All surfaces are wiped down before and after each client with disinfectant. Salon area, basin area, toilet , bathroom, all doors, handles, trolley and hair colouring/ cutting equipment. Ill be asking All of my clients to either wash their hands or use the hand sanitizer provided before each service commences. My hands are constantly being washed with antibacterial hand wash between services and after handling money. I diffuse doTERRAs onguard aromatherapy oil. This helps to boost the immune system and protect against environmental threats. The door and Window of the salon will be open to allow air to circulate. From next week I will be removing books and magazines to stop the germs spreading through contact. Your welcome to bring your own resources along. My salon is in a small area but once I’ve put my clients colour on, they will be moved to the side of the salon to give extra distance between clients. If my clients don’t feel comfortable being in the salon with another client. I can set up a temporary salon area in my lounge area. A temporary solution at this time, to give more separation between clients. If my clients don’t feel comfortable staying in the salon for the full service. I can always apply the colour and you can go and rinse the colour at home. Some of my clients prefer to do this. Some Colours will need to rinse at the basin. We can discuss options at your next service. I can book appointments where I’m only servicing one client at a time, if it’s preferred. If you are unwell or have been overseas please stay at home. We can reschedule your app as soon as we can. I’m currently boosting my immune system to help me get through this season. If My son and I are unwell I will cancel my clients appointments and reschedule. I will keep everyone updated if and when things change. Thank you for your understanding. 20.01.2022 Hi everyone. Hope everyone is doing well. With yesterday’s changes put in place by the government. Its now mandatory for hairdressers to wear a mask while hairdressing. The government have also advised clients to wear a mask as well. This isn’t mandatory though. I have some masks available for my clients to use. Feel free to bring your own mask along. I’ve ordered some triple layer cotton reusable ones to try. Just a reminder if you are at all unwell. Please stay home and we can reschedule you app. So we can help stop things from spreading. Hairdressers are able to stay open but limiting the time I can see clients. I will be in contact with my clients starting tomorrow. Bare with me while I navigate These changes. 10.01.2022 Hi everyone. how is everyone going? Yesterday the government put restrictions in for salons to only see the clients for 30 minutes. Today they have lifted restrictions, so the 30 minute rule doesn’t apply anymore. Things will still need to change slightly a gain in the salon. 09.01.2022 Hi everyone. How are we all going? I want to thank everyone once again for their support at this time. The current salon changes I’ve implemented are going well. Thank you everyone who has adapted their services to help minimize the risk of the virus spreading. Implementing the changes has also helped my work hours. Due to only being able to see on client at a time. I really appreciate that my clients are open to being flexible. I’m expecting the business restrictions to be in place for a while longer.
