23.01.2022 Hi everyone just putting it out for expressions of interest for boys who are 14 and 15 in 2021 to play footy. We are looking at trying to re-establish these grades or a possible combined team. This is pending numbers of course. If your boy is interested in playing please message myself so I can guage numbers. There is no Abergowrie boys playing this season, they are entering their own teams in the TDJRL. 21.01.2022 Hey everyone, just letting you all know Jodie has put in her resignation as President of Junior Crushers. I spoke with Jodie yesterday morning and she just has bit too much going on at present to continue in the role. She is still keen to continue as Canteen coordinator and will still be around helping out when she can. Jodie has given up many years of her own time to do various jobs with the club and has done a fantastic job as President. After speaking with Bert Petersen f...rom TDJRL to follow the correct channels we have to advertise the position for 14 days then hold a meeting to appoint a President. As Vice I step into the role in the interim. Anyone interested in filling this role is encouraged to send an email to the club or express your interest to myself or come to the meeting. 03.01.2022 Herbert River Junior Rugby League is seeking applications for Coaches, managers, First aiders and leaguesafe runners for season 2021. Grades available River ratz 2 to 4 yrs Mini League 5 to 7yrs 8s to 12s 13s to 17s... Please note some grades may be pending numbers. Also note you must have the relevant accreditation or be willing to obtain this to be able to fill a role. Any courses are covered by the club, we do not expect volunteers to pay. Also this season you MUST have a Blue card ( working with children) before you start in a role. This is a new QRL rule and you won't be eligible to help if no card. These blue cards are free to obtain. Come along and be part of a great club! Up the River! See more
