20.01.2022 2020 has been crazy; fires, hail and Covid-19, and it's time to reflect on where Herbert's has been. From take away only then very limited seating, yet thanks to you all we're surviving this beating. We've spaced all our tables to maintain social distance,... but we added a few spirits in our most recent instance. Some think we're too risky, others think we've no fear, we just feel rewarded when we pour you a beer. Now you're possibly wondering what this is all about, With a picture of our entrees, but no Mocha Stout! Please hit our menu button to see what's new at Herbert's, We have separate dining menus and have listed our 'sherberts'! Also please speak to our staff if you have a special diet, No lactose, vegan or coeliac, you'll get what's required. 17.01.2022 A little over seven months ago, in a post dated January 14 to be exact (I'll wait here while you scroll back to check it out), we posted "... our hearts go out to anyone who has lost family, friends, animals, property and/or livelihood as a result of the fires and we wish we were in a position to be able to do a little more for the recovery effort... Hopefully it won't be too long that we will." Little did we know what lay ahead... Seven months later, we're still a very you...ng business, growing with and within our community, getting through challenges that we could never have imagined back in February, but we haven't forgotten our promise. Now that we have found our feet, we would love to give a little back to those who have given a lot to all of us. Each month we will be donating our tips to a different charity and while there are so many incredible organisations doing amazing things for our community, we believe it only fitting and proper to start off with our local firies. Until the end of September, when you thank us, you will be thanking the ACT Rural Fire Service.

13.01.2022 Continuing our birthday celebrations, tonight we’re absolutely chuffed to be hosting Tuck from @wehappyfewwines with a 17-19 Shiraz tasting and exclusive launch of the very limited release 2018 Fortified Shiraz ‘Fireside Sessions’. It’s an absolute cracker and we’re extremely honoured to share in the story of this magnificent drop. Great wines and a great bunch of people!

A man took the opportunity while the young staff member was out the back, took the money from the till and her wallet, then fled to a car that was waiting for him. If anyone has any information, or witnessed the robbery, please share and let ether Ruby's or the police know.
