01.01.2022 Mary from Perth Wine Girl has discovered Mount Gambier wines including Herbert Vineyard and describes our Pinot Noir + as follows: This exciting blend of Pinot Noir (82%) and Shiraz (18%) has aged beautifully! The grapes are harvested and fermented together, and the result is a concentrated Pinot Noir ornamented with spices and rustic tannins that have mellowed exceptionally well with time. Lots of fruit in the nose, reminiscent of blackberries, raspberries and currants maki...ng it a fruit bomb without losing Pinot’s poise. Best paired with grilled meat, brown sauces, slow-cooked meat and hearty meat pies. Available for purchase now through end of September for a discounted price of $30 per bottle normal $33.
