25.01.2022 10 years ago today my episode of #ironchef Australia aired on @channel7 against @guygrossi. It was an experience of a lifetime competing with good mates @michaelforde and @brett.barrett.984 and have @deannamumma watch from the side of the studio. Stressful and exhilarating at the same time to come out as the only contestant to beat an Iron Chef in Australia. Still very proud of this achievement and will forever wear it as a badge of honour. It was incredibly humbling to meet @dacascosmark too

25.01.2022 Spending some quality one on one time since COVID came to town. I’ve been fortunately working in the mines as our business went into a temporary holding pattern. Tough gig being away from the ones you love so much. I salute the workers in the mining industry and their families who support it. Not with a heavy heart just with the pure joy of knowing we had the amazing opportunities that we did. Working alongside our incredible staff and at times Perth’s culinary greats. Creating amazing food for so many memorable events and locations. Not many people can say that they have built a business from the ground up with their partne...r. Sure it’s not always beer and skittles but we wouldn’t be living if we didn’t try. @deannamumma I love you and thank you for your sacrifice and always being there for me, the kids and the business. Our success is greatly attributed to the kind, caring and beautiful soul that you are. You are magnetic and I’m proud that you are mine Thank you to all our staff, past and present. There’s no i in team and HFF has gained a solid catering reputation because of the warm smiles, caring attitude and genuine interest to make every event memorable for our clients. Last function on the 9th January, 2021 in which we will close the Herb Faust Food chapter. Don’t worry Herb Faust will continue on cooking in a different space to be determined.
