20.01.2022 Happy Winter All, We are starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel. Things are starting to open up which will hopefully include access to our pool soon. With Stage 2 beginning at midday today this is encouraging for squads and some lessons to begin. ... HOWEVER: We still have to get the OK from the Education Department. We can only have 20 people in the venue at any one time. This means there will be limited sessions and changed session times and all must be non contact lessons We will have drop offs and pick ups only for older swimmers in the car park or out on the road. Restricted access for parents of younger swimmers. This is to ensure we are abiding by social distancing and government guidelines. No shower facilities. GET IN / SWIM / HAVE FUN / GET OUT / GO HOME We ask for everyone's assistance with these protocols. Detailed information to follow. Sessions will be done by booking only for ALL groups. You will not be able to just turn up. Stay Tuned for regular Updates Cheers Herbie

20.01.2022 Trinity Bay Pool Opening Update: Getting back into our pool prior to the renovations starting, at this stage, won’t be happening. The tiling will commence on the 26th of June with the pool getting drained on the 24th. On top of that Qld Edu Dept. still haven’t given the OK for outside users to be able to hire any facilities. The tiling will take around 6 plus weeks to complete.... That means we will not have the ability to train or do lessons at T’Bay until around mid-August. I am in the process of trying to obtain lane space with other pools for some of our older squads, but they too are limited with space and availability. I will let everyone know as soon as possible. We are also looking at beach or lake swims, team walking trips, esplanade catch ups any other pool and anything else to stay connected. When we do get back to T’Bay we will have a fantastic facility, a newly tiled pool, a new shed extension and a great training centre for us all to enjoy. Be patient and hang in there. It will be worth it.
