22.01.2022 SALON UPDATE Hey everybody. I just wanted to pop on here and give you plenty of notice due to it coming into a crazy time of the year. ... My move in date keeps slightly getting pushed back meaning I am unable to confirm when exactly I’ll be having some time off to move and get organised. At this stage we are looking at mid next month move in. I am hoping to have this space up and running by next month. So please, bare with me. 08.01.2022 Let’s talk DEHYDRATION... now, this is super important in distinguishing a unhealthy skin or a healthy skin. I have a lot of people say I haven’t drank much water lately so I must be dehydrated this is not always the case. Of course, water helps the body function and assists the skin. But Dehydration is from your skin lacking in moisture leading to an impaired skin barrier. ... Dehydration can be from external stressors such as weather and seasonal change, unhealthy diet, water intake but also caffeine and alcohol. If you haven’t got the right products for your skin, it may not be helping the situation. DEHYDRATED and DRY SKIN are NOT the same thing. In photo 1 you can see my skin looks sallow, dull and has a sense of transparency about it. Also a few random breakouts and around my eyes if you look closely are even darker, also puffy. My skins barrier is impaired. Photo 2, there is colour and a glow to the skin. The skin looks radiant and bright, but also nice and plump. The tone and texture of my skin is better and by introducing Vitamin A to the skin I have a noticeable glow which shows through. Have any skin concerns? 01.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE Just thought I’d post a little update to let you guys know we finally moved into our new home right in time for Xmas I just wanted to start firstly by thanking each and every one of my clients for being so understanding and accomodating of the circumstances. ... It is not ideal in any way, shape or form to be moving in and moving my salon on Christmas week. So, thank you for changing appointments and working in with me to make my life a little easier this week. In regards to my new space I will be working 1 day this week, that being tomorrow. If you are chasing any Skincare (Dermalist, Environ) also Jane Iredale, Imbibe please yell out as I won’t be officially reopening until 12th of January, 2021. Thank you for all your love and support this year. For always being so loyal and the amazing friendships I’ve gained over the years.
