18.01.2022 Paronella Park has always been a magical place to me. I first visited in 1964 with my mother, aunt, uncle and cousin. There was a diving board into the pool then and I took a photo with my little Kodak camera. I visited again I think in my teens and then with some special friends for family holidays and with our own family for some years. Haven't been for a little while but my husband and I were just talking about it tonight and hey presto here it is! Paronella we will be back.

16.01.2022 Hello all, hope everyone is well and coping with whatever restrictions are in place in your part of the world. North Queensland seems to have a lot of travellers just now. A friend was up on the Atherton Tablelands recently - it looked just beautiful - and somewhere for a weekend away later in the year for us. But for today some lovely birdhouses made for Heritage Hearts and my orchid which is flowering just now. I missed the sunbird sitting on the stem - he moves around ...so fast it's hard to catch him. Lovely to see all the birds in our back yard - this morning we had a red shouldered parrot on one of the birdbaths and a couple of days ago a crested hawk. Of course there are loads of honeyeaters, fig birds, bower birds, cockatoos. The kangaroos are back as well because the weather is warming up, so a good day to be at our place. 16.01.2022 I love doll houses. When I was a little girl I really wanted one but it wasn't to be. After our daughter was born she did have a doll house, which I still have and maybe in 2021 will give it a refurbish. But just loved this one. Lovely idea.

10.01.2022 I love clay pots, the more moss the better! You can pick them up at recycling shops, on facebook marketplace, garage sales - but remember your social distancing. I was lucky enough to find some at the recycling tip shop a little while ago. Putting them to use like this in an old box will be lovely.
