09.01.2022 LEADERSHIP IN ACTION Meet one of our inspiring young leaders, Adetunji Olufemi, an international student from Nigeria undertaking his PhD in Architecture. He is... one of the active and promising leaders of the future bridging generations and helping to involve young generations in heritage management and appreciation across Africa. With his untiring dedication to finding innovative solutions, he has collaborated with colleagues to organise two entities - Team NERD and Heritage Innovation Lab (HIL). Team NERD is focuses on enterprise while HIL promotes Research & Development. These groups are collaborating with local NGOs in Africa to launch local action activities and improve awareness on how culture and heritage can be leveraged to address challenges of climate change, disaster risk, social discrimination and largely achievement of the sustainable development goals.
