11.01.2022 COVID19 Health & Safety Protocols update: We would like to advise our customers and the greater community that we are following health and safety protocols as instructed by federal and state governments. We have also instituted recommendations of behalf of the Department of Health, NSW Health and Randwick City council guidelines. Hygiene:... We have boosted our personal and environmental hygiene standards inline with the governmental recommendations and with our own internal best practice. This includes Separating roles between food & beverage preparation and customer interaction / cash handling. Only using clean, disposable takeaway items for food and beverages. No keep cups or reusable containers. Hand washing regularly. Avoiding touching the face. Covering the nose and face with tissue or using a flexed elbow when coughing / sneezing. Avoiding contact with anyone with cold-flu like symptoms. Clean & disinfect the cafe area and serving areas frequently. Social Distancing: To help stop the spread of COVID19 we are abiding by and enforcing the practice of social distancing as instructed by federal, state and local governments. We have marked a 1m2 order area at our takeaway window designed for 1 person only to place their order and later to receive their goods. Outside of this we have marked a 4m2 area ‘safe zone’ with which no one is permitted to stand while another person is ordering. After ordering we insist that people move away from the order window beyond the safe zone and keep 1.5m between other persons at all times. We will call orders up in an alternating fashion using an order name. Final note: I cannot stress enough that we are a safe and easily accessible takeaway venue which exercises social distancing practices and provides contactless options to order, pay, wait for your order to be prepared and collection of goods. 10.01.2022 Restrictions on trade have forced us to rethink our offering! And to the heritage corner store is born! We are selling a host of take home produce if you really don’t want to deal with the madness at the supermarkets. So come by for a coffee and pickup some free range eggs, sourdough, avocados, tomatoes, milk, coffee beans, soft drink, kombucha, pastries, muffins and cakes etc. We will continue to build our offering, so come by!
