19.01.2022 Hi everyone, I hope your all surviving isolation, fingers crossed this thing ends soon and life can go back to normal again. I just wanted to point out that while AUSTRALIA POST is still hard at work they have however gotten so busy that deliveries have slowed down significantly. Im sure they are working around the clock to get items delivered to you quickly but with covid going on even they are working with a skeleton crew. I currently have quiet a few orders that I check daily still waiting to be delivered so please everyone be patient, it will eventually get to you. Meanwhile, for thoes in Victoria, enjoy the rain. Our dam went from half full to almost peaking...Happy days!!
19.01.2022 Long weekend Adventures. Walhalla, Jericho and Red Jacket. So over the long weekend we decided to head Back to a area we used to stay at religousely before we made the big move to the north east, so on the way home we decided to re visit some old historic gold mining towns that apart from a few old building rock walls the towns itself pretty much no longer exist. You will however still find some old boilers, plenty of old mine shafts (take caution when walking around these ...areas are shafts are not covered) theres old cemetaries and some monuments put in place to show what the area consisted of. We first came through Jericho approx 12 yrs ago, Back then all it had shown us was plenty of wasps, a dirty disused long drop and thick layers of blackberries covering almost the whole area. It was a nice surprise to see how much it has been cleaned up since and is a real credit to the historic society and Dsc, its now easily accessable, nicely maintained and we even found that jericho had its own cemetary. something we didnt see last time we had driven through. i highly suggest, for thoes that have never been through that area to take a trip out there and have a look for yourself See the old hole in the mountain that the old pioneers dug through and take a look at the cemetaries. Keep in mind the area is surrounded by seasonal gates and its best to access with a 4x4 only And Again though, i have to really stress to you all that please dont go wondering off in unfamiliar areas, The whole area seems to be littered in un marked mines so please dont venture off the road to far. 13.01.2022 Heritage is GROWING. Whether its Fortunate for us or Unfortunate for our small work shop that started this adventure we have to think of the old saying... with growth comes new beginnings. Yep, the little work shed we have been busy working in to make heritage what it is today has become too small. But, the exciting news is that We have approval to build a bigger (much bigger) shed to help accommodate the growth of the business. Too say that we expected this so soon just amazes us, hard work and a good reputation really does pay off. And of course, without our amazing customers this wouldn't be possible. So thankyou Everyone, I will keep everyone up to date on the progress of the new work area, we estimate that by the end of November, start of December we hope to be in the new work shop. Exciting times ahead....

13.01.2022 Happy Easter everyone!! How are we all coping with staying at home? Not easy hey! First year Ever for us that we havent celebrated as a family or seen our kids. It just doesnt feel right. Months ago we organised a camping trip, even put in for holidays with work and now im at home on easter sunday doing bookwork and jims building more stock. I sound like a brat, i really dont mean to because people have lost and are still loosing loved ones over this, but im just going to... go ahead and say that this really sucks. I cant wait for life to get back to normal again, one where we dont have to stand on small crosss, be told were too close, have to sanitize everything before we touch it, or worry we are going to pick up a nasty bug and pass it on to our loved ones. Bring on the end of this i say. On a better note, i hope the easter bunny put a happy happy face for your family and your enjoying the quiet times together alone. 10.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Just a quick update. So things have been pretty quiet on here of late and we do apologise for that. To say weve been busy is a understatement and weve never been more greatfull than now that we got our stocks up because we definatley needed them. Not only has heritage sales been through the roof but weve had to juggle business with both of us suffering shoulder injuries so production came to a grinding halt, then to add to the mix we welcomed in not one but two ...beautiful granbabies to our little family, and with one more to come in a few weeks things are about to become even more hectic. If you havent experienced the joy of grandchildren or even children then the best way to describe it is finding your biggest nugget of gold and being totally blown away by the experience. Our little additions are Heritages greatest nugget of all. so with that said, we hopefully back board again, Were back to working on the website and now back to working on replenishing stocks and continuing with the high banker. Thanks Everyone......
07.01.2022 UPDATE: COVID-19 Heritage Sluices Australia would like to wish everyone a safe Journey through these dark times, Please be vigilant, practice your hand and coughing hygiene, keep a safe distance and if you dont need to go to work, please stay isolated. On a happy note, Business Here will continue on as usual for as long as this virus will let us. Currently our stock is still available and is still able to be dispatched through Australia post but keep in mind that it is out of our control that all services as starting to slow down and items are taking a little longer to arrive. 03.01.2022 Sadly this summer everyone has been affected by the fires going on around australia at the moment, Please stay safe everyone and dont ever think "it wont happen to me" or go into heavy fire prone areas, mother nature is angry at the moment and no one is safe.
