25.01.2022 This Friday, 30th October, marks World Teachers’ Day. More than any other year 2020 has shown us that teachers are essential workers. Essential workers who are pivotal in providing more than just education for our children, but also stability and normality to their lives. However, to us they are more than just essential. They are diligent, hardworking individuals who show passion, patience (we learnt that during home schooling, hey parents) and care for our children. Teaching... them not only the curriculum but sharing their own personal stories, hardships and passions. Making connections with our children as valued members of the Hermit Park community and inspiring good values and learning. Thank you and happy World Teachers’ Day, you make their world and ours better! Cheers, to a ‘bright future’ 2020 World Teachers’ Day theme. Your HPSS P&C Association See more

18.01.2022 Day for Daniel Friday October 30th This Friday is Day for Daniel. We encourage students to wear red. We are NOT asking for a gold coin donation.... Day for Daniel is Australia’s largest day of action to raise awareness of child safety, protection, and harm prevention. Held annually on the last Friday of October, Day for Daniel honours the memory of Daniel Morcombe. Parents, carers, and educators are encouraged to start a conversation with children and young people about personal safety. !!
