13.01.2022 D I N E I N // We have been inundated with dine in requests, and are so grateful to our lovely customers for all your ongoing support. These have been some really testing times for us, and we are so thankful to still be trading. We can not express how wonderful it is to have customers in the restaurant, and a tiny bit of the hustle and bustle we are used to. Thank you to this lovely bunch who celebrated a birthday, Hernandos style last week. We know we are still a long way off 'business as usual', and will continue with our takeaway options, and social distancing measures, but we want to let you know we appreciate your kindness, understanding, and support towards all of us at Hernandos @therutherfordtwins

We will be taking payments over the phone to limit contact as much as possible, and offering local delivery. If you'd like to pick up from the restaurant, call us when you get a park, and we will drop it to your car. Please note, this is our first takeaway ever, and we are working very hard behind the scenes to keep our little Mexican dream alive xo

12.01.2022 For most of us hospitality workers, these procedures are nothing new. We deal with potentially sick members of the public all the time, and are trained in good hygiene practices. However, in order to do our bit to combat corona virus, we will be implementing further cleaning measures with hospital grade disinfectant, and encouraging contactless payment where possible. We are paying close attention to the advice from health officials, and will take whatever precautions necessary to keep our staff and customers safe. Take care everyone Repost @who

08.01.2022 DEVASTATED // At 3:30am this morning, a fire broke out in our little kitchen. Our restaurant is unable to trade at the moment, and for the immediate future. We will know a bit more in the coming days, and will be in contact with everyone who has a reservation. From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to say thank you to each one of you who supported us during the pandemic. We really thought the most challenging part of our business life was behind us. Turns out 2020 wasn't quite through with us. We are so, so grateful no one was injured. A huge shout out to the first responders, Bateau Bay and The Entrance Firefighters, The Entrance Police, and the paramedics on site
