23.01.2022 Our Chief Executive Hero, Evan Wong, giving a Tedx talk hosted at his old school, Sydney Boys High School! With a platform to share his thoughts with to-be adults, Evan took this opportunity to talk about what it means to be successful - something that they all want to be at their age, but are often misguided. 1. Success isn't having the best paid or highest status job.... 2. Success is different for everyone because it should be defined against your purpose, which is different for everyone. 3. To discover your purpose, you need to expose yourself to many different experiences and be self-aware whilst exploring. 4. Just because you suck at one thing (especially what is typically valued as success) that doesn't make you unsuccessful: "Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."

This was the wrap up photo for the Hero X Program where these forward looking young leaders worked in teams to solve real business problems after getting trained on design thinking, consulting problem solving frameworks, and presentation skills. The final result blew us away! We are so proud of the level of dedication and talent that was demonstrated by our students. And the feedback has been phenomenal. This is what we ...exist for!! 12.01.2022 This was a big moment for us. This photo was from the Opening Event of our new Hero X Program. After giving our students in class the advice to work on developing their soft skills outside of study, we realised that there wasn’t an easy and accessible channel for them to action upon that advice. So within 3 weeks from that initial conversation, our team worked super hard to pull together an entire program from scratch which is designed with the purpose of making meaningful wo...rk experiences accessible for busy high school students under the ethos of low commitment, high impact. All for free. And so Hero X was born. We’re super excited to see what all the teams come up with in solving the real business problems we have given them!

The Hero X Program had a simple goal: "Provide meaningful work experience for busy high school students."... We are so much more than a tutoring company, and this program is just a glimpse of what we continue to do for our students day-in and day-out.
