22.01.2022 Let's kick off your week! This is going to really help you to look at your training and readjust to get better faster results! If you are a busy parent you don't have time to waste doing something that won't work... Let me tell you what worked for my client and many others For my client this was the exact problem too much cardio and not enough strength training! Spending 8 hours a week on cardio and was not losing stubborn body fat! So first thing we did together was switched this to Strength training 3 days a week for 30mins Cardio 2 days a week for 30mins because she loves Cardio training And within the first 2 weeks she lost weight and then the following 2 weeks lost even more! And finally after years of trying, lost the stubborn fat in only 1 month And now she actually enjoys strength training as it was boring for her before! I want you to look at your workouts for the week And readjust to make sure you get 2 to 3 strength training days for a minimum of 20 mins each! 20.01.2022 Why I don't and you shouldn't feel guilty anymore about craving bad foods, having a day off the gym, taking time for yourself! Also how to be real with yourself, have weight loss results and tone up your body! I use to be really hard on myself about my body image, the foods I would eat (and wouldn't eat).... I would put myself down and always had this feeling of not being happy within myself and my own skin I want you to know if you feel this way now that this can change because I have changed and I help a lot of people to change this mindset too It is fine for you to crave foods and eat them when you want. There is no such thing as good or bad foods The only thing that is bad is eating too much food or too little food It is alright to have a day off the gym. But we need to build the discipline to know the difference between feeling unmotivated or feeling like your body needs the rest Need to make time for yourself everyday, be positive with yourself Try to see yourself the way a loved one looks at you treat yourself with kindness and understand that the more negative thoughts you tell yourself the more you are going to project to everyone around you. The old saying goes "treat people the way you want to be treated". Is important to eat healthy foods for our body and we definitely can't live off takeaway and "junk foods"... But if your goal is to lose weight or be tone there is no need to sacrifice eating out or not ever having dessert! You start fresh and plan to train and eat healthy you feel super motivated and then it just goes away and you feel flat and not wanting to train or eat healthy. I have been here before and my clients have too... The key to getting through this is known motivation is great but it is temporary it comes and goes The way forward is have a coach, someone In you corner guiding you to your goals and when you feel flat to pick you back up! 06.01.2022 Sugar are you eating too much?? This is my daily recommendations for sugar! Somewhere between 30 to 60 grams of sugar per day is absolutely fine!... Now this is not a tablespoon of sugar this is the amount of sugar within a food I like to keep most of my meals less than 10 grams of sugar when possible Most products tell you on the back of the packaging how much sugar is within. If you eat too much sugar it is hard to stay within your calorie range as sugar is very high in calories! Living by the 80/20 rule has always proven to give the best results for everyone! This is 80% of the time you eat clean healthy and within in your calories! And 20% of the time you can eat whatever you like this is where you might increase your sugars! Take 2 minutes before your session to check... - no splits in your bands - weight benches or chairs are sturdy - weight plates in barbells are damaged or clips aren't broken - that doors the secure haha - that home made equipment is safe to use Thank you for listening to the Dad safety advice coming out of me!
