18.01.2022 Hi Everyone, I have an important health and safety update for you this morning. Firstly, as always, I want to say thank you for being my amazing clients. You are all pretty fantastic people.... And secondly, I want to reassure you that in regards to the current global situation, I will continue to take bookings and operate as normal, as long as I safely am able. The health and well-being of both myself and my clients are and always have been my top priority. Because of this, I will be taking a few extra precautions. Unfortunately, Coronavirus is a reality. Still, if we all do our part, we can keep a hold of one of life’s little luxuries your regular massage appointment! I am sure that with a bit of team effort, we can keep my doors open, so I can keep you all limber, relaxed, and pain-free (or as near to it as I can get you) in these trying times. Another unfortunate reality, however, is that there are people out there (such as myself, some of you, and/or people you are close to) who have compromised immune systems and are at greater risk. So please, from the bottom of my odd-beating heart, keep yourselves healthy for us. What I will do. As I have always practised - Massage table, bolster, and swivel seat are all cleaned after every massage. Fresh, clean towels are provided for every client. I will be increasing cleaning of my home clinic by cleaning all commonly touched surfaces (iPad, door handles, bench, chair, bathroom sink, taps, toilet, etc.) before and after every client for your peace of mind. Hand sanitiser will be accessible in the clinic room and bathroom. Both my partner Jimmy and I will be practising social distancing to minimise potential risks to both ourselves and to you. Jimmy will be working from home, and I will be attending Uni online as often as possible and for as long as required. If I, or Jimmy feel unwell, I will be rescheduling clients accordingly. What you can do. If you are feeling unwell in the slightest, please contact me to reschedule your appointment for when you are feeling better, or have been given the all-clear from your GP. If you have recently been overseas, please reschedule your booking for after your required 14-day isolation. Please also let me know if you have recently travelled interstate so we can adjust your appointment accordingly if need be. In-line with ongoing advice from the Australian Health Organisation, please regularly wash your hands and minimise touching your face as much as possible. When you arrive for your appointment, I will be requesting that everyone wash their hands before your massage, and feel free to wash them on your way out as well. As long as we can all remain healthy, I will continue to operate and you will still be able to take that 60-minute-little-slice-of-heaven and forget about this crazy world for a moment. 07.01.2022 Hello, my wonderful clients. I hope you are all staying well, and keeping yourselves occupied and positive during these uncertain times. So many of us are in a state of limbo, and now more than ever we must remind ourselves and others to always be kind. In light of the recent developments and government announcements around COVID19, It is with a heavy heart that I have come to the inevitable decision to temporarily suspend my business until such times that it is appropriat...e to re-open. Confirmed cases continue to rise in WA and Australia, and the government has announced further restrictions on gatherings and the closure of non-essential businesses. Massage businesses have not been forced to close yet, but it is only a matter of time, and would rather play it safe for all our sakes. For full details, and to stay up to date, check https://www.health.gov.au/news I have personally contacted everyone who has current bookings, and I can tell you that was no easy task! Having to cancel 3 months worth of bookings from a business I have created from the ground up was particularly heart wrenching. It was especially so, knowing that those bookings were all of you, my amazing clients. I treasure every last one of you. As I value your health and well-being, this was not a decision I took lightly, and I would like to continue to extend my support to you throughout these uncertain times. If your body starts to miss its regular massages, and those aches and pains come back in ways that you are unable to manage yourself, please reach out to me, via text, messenger, Instagram, or email, and I will be happy to set up a phone or video chat with you to give you advice on possible self-treatments. I am also still here if you just need to chat. I know a lot of you get nearly as much out of our chats as you do from the physical treatment, and I don’t want to lose that. As I always say, I am not a councillor, and I can’t give you advise, but I can listen. Once things begin to settle, and we start to regain some normality, I will be offering early bird, re-opening celebration packages, so look out for those announcements. I will also try to keep a bit of contact up on social media and email, offering tips and tricks to stay sane and healthy in our isolation, so keep an eye out for that too. As always, clean fresh towels are used for each client and table is thoroughly cleaned.... I will be allowing extra time between clients to clean all common surfaces. I have completed my Australian Government covid19 infection control training. I will be wearing a mask for any face up treatments. You will be asked to wash your hands on arrival. Antibacterial gel will also be made available. Please reschedule if you are feeling at all unwell, or have been in contact with anyone with contagious symptoms. Please reschedule if you have traveled interstate or overseas in the past 4 weeks. And most of all... Please enjoy your massage!

02.01.2022 Hi beautiful people! I hope this strange new world has been kind to you all over the past few months. ... I wanted to start by updating you all on my silence on social media and email. I had every intention of keeping in touch with everyone so we could all help each other and encourage each other through this isolating time. Unfortunately, along with a few other intentions and iso-life-plans, this did not happen, and I am sorry if it was something you would have benefited from. As a lot of you can probably relate, after all the emotion and stress of closing my business, I was left a little depleted. I knew I wanted to reach out to everyone, and stay connected, but every time I sat down to my laptop, I had nothing. An to all of you with businesses and public images that have been owning it on the socials lately, my hat goes off to you. Drinking from an empty cup is not an easy thing to do. You are amazing. There was also the swift realisation that University was A LOT more work than I had ever envisioned! . All of my time and energy has been poured into making sure I receive the marks I know I can achieve, (And I am doing ok, just quietly). And so I can go on to help more people in new and wonderful ways. Which brings me to the burning question of when will I reopen?? You will be happy to know that I am making some progress to that effect! As a lot of clients had their appointments cancelled when I had to close, I am giving them first preference (If you were cancelled, and I missed you, please give me a holler). After that, I will open up to other existing clients, and then hopefully in the not too distant future, I will be ready for new clients! So look out for further updates soon!
