25.01.2022 We’re having a Sunday Session after tomorrow’s service to present and discuss some draft concepts relating to our future direction - in particular our church mission and values. This is a significant conversation for the church so we’d love you to join us and participate in this forum!

24.01.2022 We're meeting face-to-face again this Sunday at 9am and kicking off our Term 3 series in 1 Corinthians! As we grieve the lack of physical gatherings and celebrate the relaunching of our physical gatherings, it is a great time to consider the church that God has saved us into. It's definitely a messy people, but it is a unique people who are united by the good news of life in Jesus. Come and join us as we begin to explore this part of the Bible and see what it means for us t...oday. #hsbc #hertfordstreet #church #uppermtgravatt #physicalgatherings #1corinthians #newsermonseries #jesus

22.01.2022 The certain hope of the Christian faith: Jesus Christ died in our place and rose into new life, so that we might not die, but live for Him as Lord and Saviour. #hsbc #hertfordstreet #uppermtgravattchurch #church #brisbane #christian #faith #gospel #certainhope #jesus #liveforhim

21.01.2022 Important Update from Hertford Street Baptist Church: We as a church are continuing to respond to the recent COVID-19 cases in our area. After prayerful consideration and monitoring of the situation, for this coming Sunday (9 August 2020), our Sunday gathering will return to physical gatherings. As per previous weeks, the service will also be live-streamed at www.hsbc.org.au/live. As we meet, please adhere to good hygiene and physical distancing. Please stay home and join us... online if you are exhibiting any possible symptoms of COVID-19, if you have been tested for COVID-19 and awaiting results, or if you have had any potential contact with a positive COVID-19 case. We're looking forward to seeing everyone again this Sunday :) If you have any questions, please direct them to Pastor Josh. #hsbc #hertfordstreet #physicalgatherings #covid #meetingagain #church #brisbanechurch #uppermtgravatt

21.01.2022 This morning we heard a bit more about International Justice Mission (IJM) as part of their "Freedom Sunday" initiative. If you'd like to follow up or find out more about how you can be involved, have a look at the next steps and prayerfully consider if you would like to support God's work through IJM.

20.01.2022 It is a great time to join our Sunday gathering and have a 'taste' of what church is like. We meet at 9am on Sunday mornings, and you can either join us in-person or online at our livestream (www.hsbc.org.au/live). Come and hear about the good news of life in Jesus through our songs, prayers and time in the Bible - this is a message that you want to hear, whether for the first time or for the thousandth time! We're looking forward to having you join us. #hsbc #hertfordstreet #uppermtgravatt #church #churchbrisbane #jesus #goodnews #gospel #jesus #onlinechurch #joinus #dontmissout

19.01.2022 Important Update from Hertford Street Baptist Church: We as a church are responding to the recent news of COVID-19 cases in the Brisbane Southside community. We uphold the importance of the gathering of God's people around the Gospel and also our biblical call to love one another as we consider COVID-19 and our regular church meetings. After prayerful consideration, for this coming Sunday (2 August 2020), our Sunday gathering will continue in an ONLINE ONLY setting. The serv...ice will be live-streamed at www.hsbc.org.au/live. Pre-service prayer and Post-Service fellowship will take place at the usual time online using Zoom. This means there will be no physical meeting at the church building this Sunday. While there is much sadness in arriving at this decision, we believe it is an act of love toward each other. This is a precautionary measure taken for this coming Sunday in light of very recent developments, amidst uncertainties regarding potential community transmission of COVID-19 within our local area. We will monitor the situation over the coming days and notify you if there are longer term changes to our services. If you have any questions, please direct them to Pastor Josh.

17.01.2022 We're online only tomorrow! HSBC has responded to the recent COVID-19 cases in the greater Brisbane area and the subsequent government restrictions now in place by moving our Sunday Service online only as a precaution for this weekend. Please join us at hsbc.org.au/live at 9am tomorrow morning. We will also hold our pre-service prayer and post-service fellowship zoom meetings tomorrow (see HSBC Community group for links).... If you have any questions, please direct them to Pastor Josh.

16.01.2022 Let's remember today that God has saved us into a people much bigger than our local body of Christ - the universal and global church. With this in mind, let us keep praying for the many churches in our local area, especially for our partner churches - Sunnybank District Baptist Church, Somang Korean Baptist Church and Kachin Christian Fellowship. Pray for gospel wisdom, clarity and effectiveness as they make disciples of Jesus in their context and ministry. #hertfordstreet #prayer #gospel #church #southsidechurches #partnership #pray #Jesus

14.01.2022 We're meeting in-person this Sunday! We would like to let you know that for this coming Sunday (30 August 2020), our Sunday gathering will return to physical gatherings. 10.01.2022 We are excited to announce that we will be re-launching our physical Sunday church gatherings on 12 July at our usual time of 9am. As previously mentioned, our service is going to look slightly different as we comply with COVID-19 regulations. We would ask that you would arrive early at around 8:45am so that we can prepare well for our gathering (i.e. signing in and complying with physical distancing). We're looking forward to seeing everyone face-to-face as we gather around the Gospel and celebrate the good news of salvation won by Jesus Christ.

10.01.2022 We'd love and strongly encourage you to join our in-person gatherings at 9am on Sunday mornings. Please utilize this and be encouraged by the Gospel as we continue to follow Jesus together during this COVID-19 season. ... #hsbc #hertfordstreet #church #uppermtgravatt #gospel #jesus #onlineservice #hsbcmedia #churchservice

01.01.2022 We had a great morning gathering face-to-face for the first time in almost 4 months! It's exciting to be able to meet together again and celebrate the good news of life in Jesus Christ, and be reminded of the certain hope we have as we trust in Him. We still have some space for a few more people to join us, so if you'd like to visit for whatever reason, you're more than welcome to!
