20.01.2022 Congratulations to our HBNA and Bay Bullets Superstar Tamara Anderson on her selection in Netball Samoa's U21 long list squad that will be competing in the Netball World Youth Cup in 2021. This comes after Tamara was named last October in Somoa's U21 squad that were to compete in the Oceanic World Youth Cup Qualifiers during 2020. Tamara trialed in Samoa with athletes from Australia, New Zealand and Samoa.

15.01.2022 YOU COULD HELP HBNA WIN $5,000, OR $10,000 WORTH OF GRANTS BY PARTICIPATING. Suncorp Storm Score is a community challenge that encourages and rewards Queenslanders for getting their house ready for extreme weather and learning about storm safety. It is a web application, available only on mobile devices, where Queenslanders register to participate and are... given tasks and questions to complete which will help them to mitigate against natural hazards relevant to their region. On sign up participants may also nominate a local community group who will then go in the draw for a chance to receive a Community Resilience Grant, worth $5,000, or the major grant worth $10,000, which will go to one group from the postcode with the highest total Storm Score points at the end of the promotion. Eligibility of community groups is outlined in the terms and conditions, available on the Storm Score website. https://stormscore.suncorp.com.au/ Breakaways Netball Club Hervey Bay Bay Bullets Netball Club Cosmos Netball Club Hervey Bay Fraser Coast Anglican College St James Lutheran College Fraser coast Sports Precinct Suncorp https://ames collwww.facebook.com/suncorpAUNZ/

11.01.2022 Day one of the Netball Queensland Leadership Conference done and dusted. Some great workshops throughout the day from lessons learnt from the covid-19 pandemic and developing great coaches to building thriving associations and clubs. Lots of networking with other associations and clubs that hopefully lays the platform for our association to grow and thrive into the future.

10.01.2022 Congratulations Sienna Hilton, Lauren Harris, Chelsea Allen and Kilarni Mackie who represented Wide Bay U12G Netball at the QLD School Sports Championships in Toowoomba last week.
