17.01.2022 Well, that’s a wrap, 2020 is done and dusted. Last Saturday was our AGM, our Xmas breakup as well as the official opening of our new Training Area. Special thanks to FCRC for the funding to build it and thankyou also to Cr. Darren Everard for attending an officially opening our new area. Thanks also to John Chamberlain for making the plaque. Thanks also to Julie Manssen for making all the food, setting up and cleaning up.... A great day had by all, some fun shooting and our Blue Leader loved the cake too. See you all in 2021. See more

16.01.2022 Another big and productive day at the Working Bee at the Club today. Thanks to the members attending today, a huge effort by all, especially our illustrious leader. Started the day with a pile of steel and roofing and now we have the roof up for our Training area. Thanks again to Fraser coast Regional Council for the grant to help with the costs.

15.01.2022 2021 National Recurve Development Squad We're excited to announce our 2021 National Recurve Development Squad in our brand new National Recurve Program. ...Congratulations to all athletes who have been selected Squad Members - Sarah Haywood (TAS) - Kim Lavender (NSW) - Markus Kuhrau (VIC) - Peter Boukouvalas (NSW) - Nicholas Kyriazis (NSW) - James Gaze (VIC) - Madeline Boyle (NSW) The new program is comprised of three squads National, Development and Youth, and the structure of the program is designed to provide athletes with a clear understanding of their place in the Archery Australia athlete pathway. 14.01.2022 Hervey Bay Archers next Beginners course is on the 6th March. The course is not full yet, so if you are 10 years and over and interested in trying archery. Please go to our website click on Beginners course. All the information regarding the course is there. For those who have tried to get on our website and had trouble, the problem has now been fixed. We do apologise for any inconvenience it may have caused you. We will extend the closing date for registrations to 8.30pm Wednesday 3rd March.

09.01.2022 With many thanks to the Fraser Coast Regional Council for awarding us a Grant via the Sports & Recreation Capital Assistance Fund 2019-20, we’ve started construction of our Covered Seating/Training Area. Thanks also to the Club members for their efforts so far.
