24.01.2022 I would like to share our association Sporting Wheelies and Disabled Association in Brisbane being on the 9 News Queensland about our brand new office building including specific fully-inclusive gym and Boccia court markings including Goalball too.
23.01.2022 With the ongoing lessening of restrictions we hope to be able to be back playing as soon as possible. As with everything else it will be different but we will adhere to any health and safety precautions that are needed. We will keep you posted on a possible restart date when everything is in place. Until then stay safe and well and enjoy the winter sunshine.
16.01.2022 Message from Boccia Australia Nationals 2020 Cancelled. After lengthy discussion and careful consideration, the Board has made the very difficult decision that the reality of COVID19 makes holding Boccia Australia National Titles in 2020 untenable. The decision was made based on significant concerns that a large number of our athletes would not be able to attend due to health concerns and the increasing uncertainties around interstate travel.... It was a painful decision for us to make especially after pulling the rabbit out of the hat with 2019 BANT and all the hard work that has already gone into preparing the 2020 titles. We will now turn our energies to organizing another way of coming together nationally this year perhaps virtually stay tuned. We hope 2021 sees the end of COVID19 and a great BANT in Tasmania
16.01.2022 Wow I didn't know be a year since I started Hervey Bay Boccia at PCYC Hervey Bay for Sporting Wheelies and Disabled Association. Thanks to deputy Darren Everard for your support. Ps I hope after this unusual situation that we are in at this moment with this pandemic. I can promote this program to get more participants to attend this group.
15.01.2022 Here is a short video of myself and my personal assistant training Boccia PCYC Hervey Bay before the COVID-19 was serious. I hope that I can get back into training as soon as possible for a championship in November.
15.01.2022 Hello everyone. Hope you are well and continuing to cope in these strange times. With restrictions being lessened and hopefully people doing the right thing, we might be able to get the program up and running sooner rather than later. Until then, stay safe, do what is asked and 'just do it'! I am still practising when I can and trying to enjoy my sport.
15.01.2022 I did some training today somewhere different than the normal to due the pandemic. Thanks to my aunty and uncle for letting me use their new empty house for training today. Hopefully I'll be able to do some more soon. Good boccia everyone.

10.01.2022 Checking in to see how our Boccia friends are coping with our present times. I'm throwing some balls every now and then, going for a walk with my mum occasionally, playing UNO and rummikin with my family and support workers and just mooching around. I hope soon we can start up Boccia again. Fingers crossed.

08.01.2022 Sadly, after I had a discussion with PCYC Hervey Bay I now have to say that for safety reasons I will make the decision to put Sporting Wheelies and Disabled Association Hervey Bay Boccia on hold until next year 2021. Hopefully after this weird unusual period of our life with the pandemic we will be able to get a good amount of participants to attend this program and try out Boccia. I will keep you posted about a return date so keep looking out for good news.
08.01.2022 Wishing a very happy Mother's Day to all the Hervey Bay Boccia current and futures mums & their families! Hopefully, see you guys soon after the unusual situation that we are in at the moment.
07.01.2022 "They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them."... Lest we forget
06.01.2022 Today I did Bin Isolation Outing. If you want a good laugh check out their page....well worth the look.
03.01.2022 Hoping all the friends of Hervey Bay Boccia are keeping well and safe. We will get back to playing this great sport but when, we can't say at the moment. For now follow all these new rules that are trying to keep everyone safe. Do some sort of exercise, keep in touch with your family and friends (eventhough you can't necessarily be with them), eat well and properly and try some new hobbies. Let's get through this and together we can get back to enjoying ourselves.
