25.01.2022 The 2020 HB Club Championships took place on Sunday 8th November. Although the numbers were very down, the quality of the competition was not, with contestants playing some very long hard-fought matches. 15.01.2022 AGNEW SHIELD The Agnew Shield is a team competition (6 females, 6 males) which is held annually with teams from Gympie, Bundaberg and Fraser -Burnett. It is being held this year in Gympie on the 30th August and if you are interested in being part of the Fraser-Burnett team which includes Hervey Bay, Maryborough and Munduberra please contact Kathy on 0412 087 193. A great chance to play some competitive squash and socialise with our regional squash compatriots.

11.01.2022 Just a reminder to players of the rules relating to the running of the up coming semifinals and grand final. Teams 1-4 will play in the major semi-finals and teams 5-8 will play in the Plate semi-finals. The winners of those matches will go to the Grand finals, Major and Plate. The losing teams will have consolation matches on Grand Final night. 1. To be eligible to compete in a semi-final or final a player must have played at least three (3) times or must have played the two... (2) matches immediately preceding the semi-finals. 2. To be eligible to compete in any fixture competition a player must be a financial member of the Club. 3. No pre-plays can occur for semi-final or grand final matches. 4. A reserve player can take the place of an absent team member in semi-finals but no reserves will be permitted to be used in the grand final. See more

09.01.2022 It has been good to see our competitions on Tuesday morning and Monday and Thursday nights up and running again and so far minimal injuries after the long absence from competitive matches. We have to remember to follow our COVID safe practices to ensure that we are able to continue our sport in a safe manner. Happy squashing everyone

02.01.2022 Monday night and Thursday night competitions start this week. For Monday Night, times and opponent details go to the club web site for this information. Thursday night will be run in two sessions this year, (6.00 - 7.30 and 7.30 -9.00) to reduce the numbers present at the courts during matches to maximise our conformation to safe distance guidelines. For this to work, we will need as many of the team members to be present from the commencement of the matches to ensure that pl...ayers and markers are available for the two matches being run at the same time. If you have a problem playing in a session, contact your opponent to organise a preplay or to play your match at a later time on the night. 02.01.2022 We have been informed that casual members of Health Club Hervey Bay are not allowed to enter the complex after 7.30, unless they have purchased a 10 visit pass which gives them 24 hours access. The reason for this is that, unless they have paid their entrance fee, they are not covered by the centre's insurance.
