24.01.2022 Covid-19 Mask Update In line with current Urgent QLD Public Health advice, Hervey Bay Toastmasters will be enforcing mandatory masks at our meetings until this advice changes. The only exemptions are those with a Lawful Medical Condition. We will never discriminate and will not ask you to disclose your medical condition or personal details. Due to our venue being indoors however, we would suggest you consider your risk in coming to our meetings if you cannot wear a mask.... As always if you are experiencing ANY Covid Symptoms, please stay at home and get tested. Importantly, all members, visitors and guests are still very welcome to attend our meetings! We are enforcing masks in the interest of community health and safety, and we appreciate your support and understanding. We are at this stage still holding our meetings in person at our regular venue, the Resource Centre at Kawungan State School, Grevillea St Kawungan at our normal time of 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Whilst onsite we are observing 1.5m social distancing with hand sanitizer available at entry and for use throughout the evening. We are currently working on launching Hybrid meetings which combines Zoom with our regular onsite meetings to provide a more flexible approach. Stay tuned for further updates, we look forward to seeing you at our meeting soon! ~ Chris, VPE
