24.01.2022 A good share via Ian Braby. On the subject of surf swimming, we are thinking about having an unofficial day out at the beach for people to practice their surf swimming for Mooloolaba, Noosa tris and the like. Keep an eye out for info and pop a comment below if that might interest you.

22.01.2022 Looking for someone to volunteer to collect the Hundy road closure signs on Monday(or Sunday arv). I can give you a list of specific locations, they are just along the bike course on the esplanade. Also, if you see any looking unsteady or fallen over, can you message me. I have my hammer and cable ties in the car for the next week!

We don't have to cover road closures this year, and the aid stations are spoken for, so please join up as a general marshall, recovery helper, or check-in helper. 22.01.2022 Hi All, My crew at Ultra355 Australia is chasing some volunteers to help put on this new event on the Fraser Coast 27 February - 1 March. If you would like to help or would like more info, please comment here, message me, the club page or the Ultra355 Australia page. People needed: Saturday 4 people to help marshal swim start & finish 5am- 9am Saturday/Sunday - 3 lots of 2 people to man checkpoints on the bike course 3-4 hours on Saturday and/or 6-7 hours Sunday at Rive...r Heads, Torbanlea and Dundowran. Monday - 4-8 people to work in pairs at checkpoints at Seafront Oval or The Gables, Pt Vernon 7-8hrs. Thanks Jeff

21.01.2022 We keep churning out the little champions! Our juniors just love the training and competition, results and opportunities like this follow naturally. Great work from all of our juniors and a huge thankyou once again to the legend that is Brian Harrington and to Kirra also now who gives time and expertise back to the club’s juniors.

21.01.2022 Big thanks to the Fraser Coast Regional Council Sport and Recreation Capital Assistance grants fund for our new shade tents. These will serve the club well for our club races as well as the Hervey Bay 100. Huntingdale Woods Estate, Infinit Nutrition Australia, Kingfisher Bay Resort Hervey Bay Community Bank Branch and Beach House Hotel Hervey Bay feature on the tents also as acknowledgement of their long term support of the club.

20.01.2022 Representing HBTC and their schools at the Queensland All Schools Triathlon at Lake Kawana today. Results were Junior Male (12 & 13 yrs) Dylan 1st, Colton 15th and Hayden 56th. Intermediate Female (14 & 15 yrs) Charlotte 23rd and Pepe 32nd. Some great racing by all the kids and a credit to Harro and Kirra (Pepe’s coach) Thanks for the pic and race report Kirsty Smith

Rach and Jason Cheshire have huge experience in our sport and will expose you to knowledge and people that will help your sporting journey. These are people who have supported our club for nearly 10 years and used to live in the area. 02.01.2022 Good luck to Pepe Pavey and Charlotte Davies this morning racing the B final at the Super Sprint weekend. Terrible weather has the final event changed to Aquathlon. Best of recovery to Dylan Smith who banged himself up in a bike stack earlier in the event.
